I mean Dragon Ball Super was hot shonen garbage but I still managed to finish that. HeroAca just feels so... phony in the emotional investment department. I found it to be a rather touching story about being able to overcome adversity through effort. Admittedly sometimes they lay on the "message" a bit thick, but I suppose I'm a bit of a sap for touchy drama sometimes. Plus the soundtrack is baller. I didn't like Super at all, made little to no sense even for a Dragonball. The best character imho was Whis with all his trolly commentary and didn't even get to see him nearly enough.
