What decade was your house built?

1938 Packard

It is when you reside in it.  "Come to my house"

no, a house is generally considered a single-family residence (in some cases, as many as three) and is zoned residential. an apartment complex is a multiple-unit residence, sometimes combined with other space for commercial offices and shops, and is generally zoned commercial.

no one who lives in an apartment says "come to my house" you nitwit. they might say "come to my place" or "come to my apartment" though.

The cherry tree outside my apartment didn't make it through the summer.

Things just weren't right for me this past spring when blossom petals didn't fall on my path to the mail boxes.

your fiction is funny. you don't live in a house.

mine was built in the 50's. and will be doing additions next year. it's solid. and ....

it's a house.

They could also say come to my home, because a home and a house are not the same thing.

You can't read a schematic.  Shut up now.

Mmmmm, that new house smell....Like I said Pacman, I'm not doing anything for you because you can't tell me the sandwich you bought, or how much the bill you paid was.  You've made a lifetime career of being a janitor, and you think you have any business schooling me in my field?....Get fucked, Goo Gah >:D

Funny how you keep bouncing back and forth over who I am.  I'm either Dan Sempsey with property tax records in my name or I'm a faceless janitor who doesn't own anything.

Choose one or the other and stick to it.

That's me.....I don't have to choose because you're both.....But you don't own anything, you were suckered into signing your name to a deed for your poor credit stricken brother....You even admitted to such in a thread when you bragged about how much he paid you to do it and how when HE sells it, you'll get a cut.  He's making the payments and you live in shithole hell, Dannyboy.

But you aint faceless.....I got plenty pics of ya.

So, what's the difference between him paying MY mortgage for me or his paying rent to me while I write the mortgage check?  The house is STILL in my name along with its tax records and therefore I own it.  He's effectively renting it from me.  Yes, it's quite possible to be a tenant in one place and landlord in another.

Keep in mind, though... this also puts me in a position to sell the house right out from under him, put him in the streets and walk away holding every penny.  So, there's really no suckering going on.

Lol.  Speaking of phony.  There is no way you're not living in a house that's in your name if you own it outright, unless its too close to a park or school.

I just don't want an hour and half commute to work every day, relying on buses.

Yes, some people do in fact own houses that they don't reside in.  What the Hell do you think my uncle is doing with so many houses in his name?  People rent them from him.

If he stops making the payments, I can evict him and sell the house.  Mortgage paid off.

Lol.  Not before you're in default and the bank takes it back, broseph.  But, that won't happen I'm sure.  He'll pay off the mortgage, you'll mysteriously "disappear", and he inherits his own property back.

Sure... just have someone overtake the lease on the apartment, move into the house and make the payment instead of rent.  There's also enough savings to keep up payments in the interim.

Bullshit. Unless you already forgot about the "expensive" medical procedure you had.
