Guest The Hound Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 i listen and enjoy literally all rock/metal besides nickleback
Mini_ghost420 Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 I always liked the music still do. suicides don't make me sad they piss me off. the ghosts of suicides make a mess and are a pain in the ass to deal with. and I find industrial music to come from a mechanical place removed from emotion. that's why I like it
Guest The Hound Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 I remember them and Gackt gackt comes up on my discover weekly thing on spotify
PhilosipherStoned Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 I used to have a NAS mash-up he did that was pretty dope on my Ipod, but I'm not familiar with most of his work.

Someone committing suicide increases the chances of one of their loved ones going that route too.

Mohri Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 No but I remember static shock This is who I exactly thought this thread was about when I opened it up. It appears that I was wrong.
NaBarney Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Lol I was like "I didn't know Static Shock had such a dark ending" My only connection to Static X is seeing pics of the band and dude's silly hair when their singles would play on my cable provider's Music Choice alternative rock and metal channels when I was like 12
Doom Metal Alchemist Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Static X had a god awful cover of Black Sabbath's Behind the Wall of Sleep. Also I always thought Asuma Sensei from Naruto looked like Wayne Static.
PurgatoryGirl Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 isn't it fucked up he commits suicide Correction. Wayne Static did NOT commit suicide. Every Static-X fan should've already known this 3 years ago. Wayne died 3 days before his 49th birthday in his sleep from mixing Oxycodone with alcohol, which led to a drug overdose. His WIFE committed suicide because she was depressed about his death.
Ric Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Yeah I remember them, still listen to a song of theirs every now and then. Wayne always reminded me of the slim jim dude.
PhilosipherStoned Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 lol.. I knew I was probably thinking of the wrong person it was "static select" or something. Not sure if I've ever heard Static X
lupin_bebop Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 It's on the fringe of my memory. Wasn't that the one that the one that did "Bang bang bang", then OD'd?
