I got FLCL Progressive vibes from Mecha Ude. It definitely feels like a Roosterteeth show but with better CGI.

I enjoy the bags of coffee they have in convenience stores like their Sumatra, Cafe Verona, Espresso Roast, and Italian Roast, but it doesn't come out right when I order regular black coffee at an actual Starbucks. It might just be my general dislike of the burnt chemical taste that Pikes Peak gives off.

Not much, but since I was a drama kid, I was up to date on the music.

And I say gay! (GAY!) What a wonderful kind of gay!

I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where, uh, Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums.

It defeats the purpose of bringing Chucky in if he's supposed to be a Terminator this time around instead of a doll possessed by the soul of a serial killer. Doesn't help that they're going to try to create a Losers Club to fight Chucky because they really want to hammer on the idea that the remake is from the producers of the It remake.

I really liked that show when it came out. Completely faded from existence soon after it finished, but all of the characters were adorable.

You know a video is gonna suck when it has the Youtuber trying to look awkward or smug on the thumbnail. The algorithm keeps acting like I’m interested in his videos cause I watched a video game trailer, but I’ve never clicked on any of them. Hopefully now, they’ll stop showing up, but knowing them, another trashfire will show up in his place because Youtube is a cesspool.

I learned a lot about enjoying a flesh light in the cold moonlight.

Episode 15 was guest directed by Osamu Kobayashi, the wondrous director that gave us Episode 4 of Gurren Lagann.

The best part of that movie was the gag reel where they tried to put the dog in the wave pool

Now I know how people felt when they kept talking about wanting to see End Game for the billionth time.

Born to Run was a good song, but I don't have too much interest in his music. I do know someone who was borderline obsessed with him though. Where she would talk about all of the concerts she's been to where he's played and her own personal experiences she's had at these concerts (stuff like "he did a shout-out to me one time because I requested a deep cut"). She was trying her hardest to steer her thesis paper around Bruce Springsteen, but it didn't make sense what she was trying to propose since studying euphoric human interaction with the sonic waves from concerts had little to do with studying society.

Ben & Jerry's always come through with their ice cream. That, Chunky Monkey, and Half Baked were always great. Used to love Phish Food the most when I was younger, but the ice cream bar version was the best.
