SwimOdin
For me, it was yesterday when all the gen Z people were talking about their Spotify Wrapped and I couldn’t give less of a fuck. I use Spotify for some of their exclusive podcasts and that’s it. I felt old as fuck as they were quite giddy. What was your oldest?

[classic swim]
I try not to think about how many of them are “grown” and were born in ‘05-‘08. Like you should still be a fucking cashew.

Like you should still be a fucking cashew. Couple years ago we ordered takeout the night before a trip, and I was talking to the guy at the front desk about plane travel and how we both traveled unsupervised to meet grandparents in Florida or whatever. And so I say "yeah it was just totally different pre-911, your parent could walk you to the gate and your grandparent could meet you right at the other gate. And he goes "ah... yeah... I never got to experience that..." So I recognize he's younger than me and I says "oh yeah you probably weren't old enough to remember that" And he says "I wasn't born yet" and when I couldn't hide the shock he was like "I'm 18, I was born in 2004" and gives an intentionally awkward smile and thumbs up. and then I turned into dust 1 1

Ever since then it's like I hear a tentpole game is announced and then next thing I know all the sudden it's out with no hype. I know it's a me-thing but I still can't shake it.

It was definitely a semester or two ago when one of the practice questions involved "AOL" and the teacher goes "does anyone know that is?" and I raised my hand in the back.. while everyone in front of me looked at each other and audibly said "WHAT IS AOL?!?!?" so I put my hand down while the professor was looking right at me, and he said "it's probably good no one admitted it. If they did, they would be showing their age" and I was sitting there like ........ <.< >.>
