Seight Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 Some say, at the right time of day, you can still hear a warbling, staticky voice going "Blue Light Special on aisle six" 4 Quote
Ric Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 I worked at a Spirit Halloween once, it was an okay job for min wage(or maybe it was a little over, it was in 2007 so I don't remember for sure) 1 Quote
bnmjy Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 It's a shame they don't sell scary themed sex toys behind a black curtain, considering they are owned by Spencer's, lol 2 Quote
Chapinator_X Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 It’s always morbidly amusing to see which shutdown mega-chain has their store repurposed as a Spirit Halloween. This year, our closest K-Mart joined the club. 2 Quote
GuyBeardmane Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 The Spirit Halloween store in my town has been in the same building for the past 10 years, because no one else is even trying to lease that space. It's kind of sad. 1 Quote

Sawdamizer Posted September 30, 2021 Posted September 30, 2021 They scooped up an AC Moore store this year, right next to the liquor store… they know what’s up 4 Quote
GunStarHero Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 I always underestimate how popular they are and how much product they keep and wind up getting the leftover scraps every time I go. 1 Quote
katt_goddess Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 I went past one today while running errands and am now sort of kicking myself for not going in. Pretty sure I could still get one of those All Might stocking caps with the mega hair-antenna going on. Winter is coming after all. Quote
wacky1980 Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 The local spirit store moved into an empty slot in the mall this year. We were just in there today and it was kinda lame. None of the robotic decorations were set up, no haunted house thing, none of that. Just costumes, props, and decorations. Still better than anywhere else around though. Quote
André Toulon Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 I went to one before my surgery yesterday and found a jack skellington pocket watch for my daughter...she loves it. Theres also one that popped up here in town, but I just haven't been in yet. Since I'm in "recovery" I may go check it out today 3 Quote

katt_goddess Posted October 16, 2021 Posted October 16, 2021 I want to go to buddy's Spirit of Halloween store. I stopped at mine on the way home today for the hell of it and it is so picked over I can't tell if they just didn't get a whole lot in or if it literally flew off the shelves that fast. 1 Quote

The joys of living in asscrack OK. It might be next week before the city folk realize we have stock here. Quote

André Toulon Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 Ours moved...the. Kids know where but I'm used to it being right here next to Ollie's....I wanna go see what they got but I'm a creature of habit and dint wanna see the new store....that'll be gone in a few weeks 1 Quote
katt_goddess Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 I have found this year's location of the Spirit of Halloween...it's like 3-4 blocks away from me. I need to get out my wishlist and go be stupid in there before all the stupid is sold out. Potato broke the arm off my little skeleton. 1 Quote
André Toulon Posted Friday at 05:37 PM Posted Friday at 05:37 PM I think it's back where it used to be but in a different unit. I may swing by there today if Neff comes home. Its mostly her thing...if its just me and the boy, probably won't bother....he just wants the candy.... he'll dress up as anything for free candy. Neff does make up, special orders, makes props....not sure how into it she is this year tho, being all adult and shit. Quote
discolé monade Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago we got one! in the old jc penney. couple years ago it arrived? right after this thread was made. going wednesday. 2 Quote
katt_goddess Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Party City died that Spirit of Halloween may rise! Sadly, it seems like the tariffs have shrunk the offerings or people just got there super early and panic shopped because there wasn't all that much that really drew my attention. Plus, I think I already have all the fun t-shirts. Quote
