KimopoBotar Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 Can we choose nothingness? I just want to be able to rest when I'm done here. I don't want more lives to deal with. 3

I'm sure some here could remember those days, but that was a very long time ago. Like a decade ago. Now I'm a happy atheist and i don't feel any need to force anyone else to share that, beyond letting people know that it's an option. I do like the idea of eternal rest. 1

little_girl_lost Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 You've reminded me of the god-awful film Lost Lake (alternatively titled Peak Experience) This is the only clip I could find of the alternate/extended ending What happens in the film doesn't matter, but in the ending all the characters die and are taken to another dimension where they choose where they would like to live their next life, and yes, hell is one of the choices, you have to see this shit to believe it.

1938 Packard Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 It has levels. Top level: A seat at the dining table in the house. Descending: The garden outside the house. The village beyond the garden. The forest beyond the village. Of course, if you're totally fucked up and beyond redemption, you just end up in a big nothingness, friendless and alone.

Hell has the same arrangement as Heaven, but there you get the worst place for you in particular.
