I can't say I ever planned on doing something like this, but life is a series of unplanned experiences. Realized after that i'd never really seen a sheep before, irl...and i've seen a slew of animals both wild and domestic so you'd think I would of seen one by now....but no....first sheep I ever saw and I didn't really know him long....used to think they were like goats (seen plenty o' them), but no, they have their own way about them....long story short, i'm not saying I'm 100% going vegetarian now, but for sure there are changes coming down the pipeline...

How'd you spend your saturday?

Sheep vaginas are apparently closest to a humans. I heard this once, but how does a person find that out besides the obvious way? I have yet to do anything significant besides texting.

didnt take long for things to get weird.

Idk, I used to think being Vegan or Veggie was the answer to a healthy life. But after learning that eating meat may have help Hominids gain more energy to travel farther and eventually lead to evolution into humans, I've been really secure with my meat love again.

i like meat but i would probably become a vegetarian if i had to slaughter animals. i still remember the time when i was 5 and they slaughtered a pig that i had recently befriended.

about the same age and it was a chicken for me....heady stuff

yeah i know how loud chickens can get too. thats what i remember most. but only lately have i been considering cutting down on the meat consumption. i know the big cattle industry has really been fighting to keep meat consumption at all time highs. they will pay lobbyist  to try and manipulate legislation or to try and keep studies that show meat in a bad light.

I've been on the butcher floor and I've seen how cows are slaughtered. not much different when it's all said and done.

I kind of want a burger now..

This factory did the killing for you.. upscaled production.. I mean It's horrible when you think about it,

but at the same time I could marvel at the automation.. one bolt through the head and that things out.

Actually I can't remember if it shot bolts or compressed air.. It's been a while.

A sheep, not a lamb?

Why?

You have to kill them when they're babies or they don't taste as good.

really? is that like veal? 'cause the lady did say she tried to get a younger one but couldn't and I just thought that meant the sheep was old....

damn, that's brutal

Posted (edited)

This was last year.

I don't believe I ate any of them as to the best of my recollection the sheep in that picture were all ladies.

I ate pieces of their sons.

I think the first step i'm going to to take is switching to fish and wild game for a while as I pare down my meat intake...

It's something i've been meaning to do for a while anyway...

I'm not either, and distorted reasoning did bring up a good point about meat industries corruption. It's also good to still have a a healthy amount of veggies.

fish wouldnt be so bad to transition to. taste isnt as good but still a decent subsitute and much more nutritional. my problem will be preparing more foods. im already bad at that and switching over will require me to be more on top of things.

Grocery shopping and trying not to spend all of my money in IKEA.

I would probably eat less meat if i had to kill it myself but i saw an old asian lady snap a chicken's neck like it was no big deal so maybe you get used to it

I had band practice today, recording our upcoming debut EP. I personally didn't really do anything, as all we did today were recording vocals, as all my guitar parts, all our bass parts, and all our drum parts were already done from previous practice sessions. Now our lead guitarist/audio engineer/producer has to record his guitar parts, and mix and master everything.

Yeah those except without them goofy lines up top.

..............."...The three dots tattoo is a common prison tattoo that represents “mi vida loca,” or “my crazy life.” It's not associated with any particular gang, but with the gang lifestyle itself. ... On the other hand, this tattoo can also carry some religious significance, usually representing Christianity's holy trinity........,,,,,"...

I had the same problem identifying some of them.  the ones without dots are so similar that i think theyre at least the same symbology.  only thing is for the hundreds without dots,

no affiliation can be found through my research...  i have asked around and even checked about opinions on what they mean.  the closest thing is mi vida loca cross

people even lie to avoid talking about them, because i have had people tell me straight out, no they never saw one before and i know theyre fucking lying.

theres also the ones that are just dots and no cross

my aunt took us to a slaughter house when i was like 7 (?) didn't actually SEE any slaughter,

and i think she was trying to deter us from eating meat? but then we had burgers that night.

i have had many animals that i THOUGHT were going to be pets, and just turned out to be breakfast/lunch/dinner.

I worked this morning, and mutton is gross. Lamb, on the other hand, is quite nice. I saw a pig butchered when I was like 5 or 6, and it bothered me, but have since come to enjoy my position at the top of the food chain.

it's good to be at the top, not gonna argue that....

I've had mutton dishes i've liked and some i've disliked....I just don't think I eat it often enough to cultivate a taste for it...

IKEA has a way of making sure you leave with way more than you came to get without a single sales person involved....then you realize "fuck, I gotta put this shit together" -_-*

Oh, I'm sure she did....older generation ain't pansies....I'm just not about that life
