I think it’d be like if Batman & Robin came out before the Richard Donner Superman films or the Tim Burton Batman films, so every phenomenal superhero film afterwards would only be graded on how it’s a pleasant surprise compared to Batman & Robin. Raimi’s Spider-Man 2, The Dark Knight, Iron Man 1, and Black Panther would go from being taken seriously as films to being surprisingly good for the same genre that gave us Batman & Robin. But because Dragonball Evolution came out way before anything memorable in a good way, most anime films that are excellent are only graded based on whether they are Dragonball Evolution or not.

What do you mean I can't call the government as a witness?

What do you mean the NSA can’t just forward over a spycam video of me fapping or taking a dump as my alibi for not being anywhere near a crime scene!? -
Subway: It’s the closest your lazy ass will get to a yoga mat. Papa John’s: Same shit, different flies. Arby’s: We have the “Meats”

rants Haters/Complainers: Legacy of Spleen

I don’t know why people broadcast horrible things or trauma that almost happened or did happen to them. If it almost happened, half the comments would be from headass people hoping it did happen. If it did happen, half the comments would be from headass people hoping that it hurt. A million faceless assholes don’t need to know if I lost a family member or almost died because I don’t need to watch trashpeople come out of the woodwork to celebrate my trauma. It has to be masochism for a Twitter user with enough clout to do that to themselves. -
“Wake up, Gromit! We have to flee the country. I accosted a man for telling me the moon wasn’t made of cheese rather rudely and knocked him down flat. We must leave this horrid place, post-haste!”

Chilling in the house for the most part, but I remember having a great time in New York. Disney World during the holidays and my recent trip to Savannah were nice as well.

Because 4/20 just so happens to be the abbreviation for April 20th.

Asner was one of the older celebrities I was dreading to find out passed. I knew him from the Mary Tyler Moore show, Up, and The Boondocks, but he has so many more iconic roles under his belt.

I only rely on movie recaps if it’s something I was never intending on watching. -
What Anime Are Truly Mainstream In The United States?

With Google searches, I wouldn’t be surprised if they counted “Sakura Haruno is useless” or “Why is Sakura Haruno worse than Danzo” in the algorithm. She’s one of the few shounen waifus whose hatebase is more passionate and devoted to her than her fanbase. 2017’s uptick could be chalked up to her milfy redesign in Boruto, but I imagine everything during Shippuden was unbridled hatred. -

Look at those based Sakura fans from 2006 to 2013 & 2017. -
I think expectations ride high on what airs on a season-by-season basis. Out of all the anime that comes out per season, only a couple are kind of anime that could become universally beloved for mass consumption. The sports, isekai, CGDCT, and children’s anime that come out might not be the next AoT or JJK, but hoping for twice the amount of anime on the off-chance of getting a couple more AoT/JJK-caliber anime per season is a pretty insane demand for an overworked and underfunded industry.

On a lighter note, the reboot is a few days away from being 3 months old.

Watch out, the more doves get cooked, the less can be used in a dramatic John Woo film scene.

If MPreg ever becomes a reality, then I’d presume that’d be an option.

I think they peaked at Boys & Girls in the City and Opening New Doors. They’ll have different seasons that have differing levels of quality though. The last season tanked because of a combination of COVID, the fact that the producers are primarily to blame for the hate mail that drove Hana Kimura to suicide, and Tokui being kicked off the show for tax evasion.

I remember back in 2013 when Baoh showed up in the PS3 JoJo game and I got my hopes up for a possible DavidPro OVA for Baoh. -

If you’re familiar with anime, DBZ, Naruto, Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, One Punch Man, My Hero Academia, and Black Clover might be the ones that are currently still big in America. Jujutsu Kaisen is starting to get big, but I’m not sure if it’s as mainstream since it’s newer. If you’re talking about the Average Joe though, I think they’d only be familiar with DBZ, MHA, and Naruto. -
