Chilling in the house for the most part, but I remember having a great time in New York. Disney World during the holidays and my recent trip to Savannah were nice as well.

Because 4/20 just so happens to be the abbreviation for April 20th.

Asner was one of the older celebrities I was dreading to find out passed. I knew him from the Mary Tyler Moore show, Up, and The Boondocks, but he has so many more iconic roles under his belt.

I only rely on movie recaps if it’s something I was never intending on watching. -
What Anime Are Truly Mainstream In The United States?

With Google searches, I wouldn’t be surprised if they counted “Sakura Haruno is useless” or “Why is Sakura Haruno worse than Danzo” in the algorithm. She’s one of the few shounen waifus whose hatebase is more passionate and devoted to her than her fanbase. 2017’s uptick could be chalked up to her milfy redesign in Boruto, but I imagine everything during Shippuden was unbridled hatred. -

Look at those based Sakura fans from 2006 to 2013 & 2017. -
I think expectations ride high on what airs on a season-by-season basis. Out of all the anime that comes out per season, only a couple are kind of anime that could become universally beloved for mass consumption. The sports, isekai, CGDCT, and children’s anime that come out might not be the next AoT or JJK, but hoping for twice the amount of anime on the off-chance of getting a couple more AoT/JJK-caliber anime per season is a pretty insane demand for an overworked and underfunded industry.

On a lighter note, the reboot is a few days away from being 3 months old.

Watch out, the more doves get cooked, the less can be used in a dramatic John Woo film scene.

If MPreg ever becomes a reality, then I’d presume that’d be an option.

I think they peaked at Boys & Girls in the City and Opening New Doors. They’ll have different seasons that have differing levels of quality though. The last season tanked because of a combination of COVID, the fact that the producers are primarily to blame for the hate mail that drove Hana Kimura to suicide, and Tokui being kicked off the show for tax evasion.

I remember back in 2013 when Baoh showed up in the PS3 JoJo game and I got my hopes up for a possible DavidPro OVA for Baoh. -

If you’re familiar with anime, DBZ, Naruto, Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, One Punch Man, My Hero Academia, and Black Clover might be the ones that are currently still big in America. Jujutsu Kaisen is starting to get big, but I’m not sure if it’s as mainstream since it’s newer. If you’re talking about the Average Joe though, I think they’d only be familiar with DBZ, MHA, and Naruto. -

It’s pretty crazy how normal games were $50 on the PS2 and how that feels like a steal compared to a new game nowadays.

I had a pretty good time with the Demon Slayer anime & manga, but that’s mostly because it ended before it overstayed its welcome. It’s a well put-together shonen that’s consistently acceptable, but that isn’t as bad when many of today’s beloved shonen need much more time and investment before they hit the same level of quality. Demon Slayer being the highest grossing anime film isn’t the worst thing that could happen, especially when it’s as much of a spectacle as many of the highest grossing films out there.

Back in kindergarten, there was a porcelain crying clown face that was hung up in the hallway as a decoration. Everyday, one of my classmates would ask why the clown was crying. We’d feel bad, but then pass by it and head our way to the buses after school. Then, one day, when she asked that same question, I wanted to see if I can cheer the porcelain clown up by taking it off the wall and holding it. But because I was maybe 3 or 4 feet tall and the clown face was high up on the wall, that clown’s face went down, smashing into pieces. My kindergarten teacher was pissed. She rushed to me and instantly got up in my face as if I was trying to break it when I just wanted to cheer up the clown face.
