  1. I’ve been spending a lot throughout the month so I didn’t go as hard on Black Friday aside from a couple games.
  2. It helps save face for larger companies who have the distinction of making widely disliked videos. The main workaround I’ve seen has been creating a comment that acts as the dislike button. Like saying “Thumbs up this comment for your dislike”. Or Google plugins.
  3. When the post-chorus of TWICE’s “Alcohol-Free” starts listing cocktails.
  4. Take on a disguise and pretend to be a security guard hired to patrol the vortex room.
  5. I’m grateful I had enough supplies to make a smaller batch of a rosemary praline and bourbon sweet potato casserole. The first batch I made ended up on the floor of my oven. Remember to keep your glass trays room temperature before popping them in to bake.
  6. There’d be no reason for me to bring back a couple of my defunct joke alts like Phil_Collins.
  7. The Inuyasha skit was pretty tame compared to the passive aggressive digs during the bumpers or Sealab. But I think a bulk of it is because the “Rabid Inuyasha Fans” who were loud and aggressive back then were easier to poke fun at compared to the other anime fandoms who just didn’t want to see their show shoved in the graveyard slots.
  8. FEEL THE RHYTHM WITH YOUR HAAAAANDS, (Steal the rhythm while you can) CORN MAAAAAN
  9. The first episode was really rough, but it coasted off on Yoko Kanno’s music and Jet’s actor being really good in this. I also want to root for John Cho because he’s a fun actor and it was always going to be difficult to do Spike justice. I really disliked the script and tone of the first ep though. It feels like pockets of the first episode were like the anime, but so much of it felt inspired by the dull post-Avengers & post-Kingsmen action films I’ve had to sit through. It doesn’t help that parts of the later episodes kept leaking out like the Eunich’s testicle tasting or the Radical Edward scene that was ripped straight out of To Boldly Flee. How does your soul not want to leave your body watching any of this? At least in the Death Note movie, it’s funny to watch L maniacally drive headfirst into bus stops in anger. With this, I feel like it’s the first show I’ve hate watched by choice.
  10. It looks too much like nostalgia-wank. Where instead of trying to make the movie its own thing, it’s more than happy living in the shadow of the first film In a meaner sense, it looks like what would happen if you tried to add a story to an episode of The Movies That Made Us.
  11. I’ll have to wait a bit because my state is dragging its feet on getting boosters available to people who aren’t above 60 or at risk.
  12. Rub dongs
  13. I’m interested in getting Vice City separately for the glitches, but $60 is a lot to ask for, especially since I’m not looking to play 3 or San Andreas.
  14. Tommy looks a lot chunkier in the Definitive Edition. He’s taken quite a few trips down to Shaved Ice City. He’ll need to do the Lance Vance Dance to burn off all the mofongo he’s been pounding down.
  15. RIP to these songs: Bark At The Moon" by Ozzy Osbourne "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson "Cars" by Gary Numan "Cum On Feel The Noize" by Quiet Riot "Japanese Boy" by Aneka "Looking For The Perfect Beat" by Afrika Bambaataa & The Soulsonic Force "Love Missile F1-11" by Sigue Sigue Sputnik "One Thing Leads To Another" by The Fixx "Poison Arrow" by ABC "Rockit" by Herbie Hancock "Running With The Night" by Lionel Richie "Steppin' Out" by Joe Jackson "Video Killed The Radio Star" by The Buggles "Wanna Be Starting Something" by Michael Jackson "Wow" by Kate Bush It’d be one thing if it was only the expensive Michael Jackson songs, but I’ll miss all of these songs in Vice City.
  16. I swear, whoever composed the songs for the GoogleFi ads set out to make some of the most godawful music ever conceived.
  17. Nothing too extensive. At most, you have a lot of articles that mirror these warnings, but these are going off of American laws: https://cakeboss.com/selling-cakes-with-copyrighted-characters/ But like with what Jman was saying, alot of it is determined by what can be publicized or how it’s sold. I’d imagine you could sell an Demon Slayer cake if you use a pre-bought topper or dance around where the characters are from. It might also be why some ice cream shops might rename the “Superman” flavor to avoid legal issues while other shops know they’re small enough to take the risk.
  18. This story just sent me down a rabbit hole about whether copyright laws apply to selling cakes or foods dedicated to characters you don’t have the license for. I’m so used to seeing second-hand Disney and Mickey merch that it never occurred to me that you would need to have a license to commercially sell a cake that looks like Olaf or Zenitsu at a bakery.
  19. Metal Gear Solid
  20. SMT V is coming in the mail soon, but I’m almost done with Tales of Zestiria. How have I never learned about this game until now? It’s jank as hell in a kusoge sorta way, but I love the characters and the juxtaposition between the fantasy setting and the campy, irreverent tone. It being the first game I’ve played where your main dude has a twink bf by default is also a bonus. I need to get into more of these Tales games. I’ll probably alternate between Vesparia and SMT V for the next month or so. I have a couple backlog games like AI and The Witcher 3, but I’ll likely have to chip away at those once I get the motivation.
  21. Never forget what they took away from us: But even though it’s far better than Netflix quietly smothering the show like what they’d do with their older anime, they never realized how screwy their batch schedule can get. Shaman King has been a weekly release since April, but Netflix is still on Episode 12 while the broadcast is currently on Episode 31. For a lack of better words, a release like this for Stone Ocean would be complete ass. If that’s the template they’re working off of, you’ll either have to deal with the irregular batches or sail the seven seas to keep up with everyone watching it.
