I'm talking about the current trend of over autotuning so much it sounds (and is) completely artificial. Keeping a guitar in tune is not a great analogy for autotune. A more apt analogy would be playing notes out of key and "fixing" them digitally so the "bad" notes are now in key. Have you heard Cee Lo Green sing without Autotune? He did in American Dad. Sounded godawful.
