Myself, I prefer a gin and tonic, Bombay Sapphire to be specific, with a wedge of lime in a short glass on the rocks, though I don't drink that much these days, too many empty calories.

gin and tonic is my summer drink :)

Been a long time gone since I drank any alcohol.  When I did drink, it was mostly high end beer, cheap beer second place and then sometimes wine or malt liquor.  Never was much for hard liquor, except occasionally some Koltiska.

craft beer mostly... but i do enjoy occasional cocktails involving vodka. had a very tasty one at the new distillery on friday. it was called the trolley. vodka, lavender, lemon, grapefruit, and a grapefruit peel. it was very very smooth and refreshing. dangerous tho... i could suck those down with a quickness on a hot day.

1. Rum: Barbancourt is my #1. Either plain or on ice.

2. Beer: Preferably porter/stout, but I go for whichever beers on hand as long as it's not lighter fluid.

3. Sake: I drink alot of this. It's very nice whether its junmai or nigori, hot or cold.

4. Scotch: For good times, I make it a Suntory time. Plain or on ice.

5. Gin: For this, I like the ones that taste the most like Christmas trees, but Hendricks is amazing. Either plain or gin 'n juice.

6. Tequila: This one I've had cravings for lately. Gravitate towards Patron.

7. Wine: Plum wine is the best. As far as traditional grape, I usually do Pinot Noir, Retsina, or Riesling. Prosecco is great too.

8. Soju: This one's solid, but I can't pinpoint where I'd be able to find it for home consumption.

I'd put IPA's on the same level as pisswater beers as something I put up with. I'll have it when it's there if it's the only option, but I'd choose millions of other beers over that. It's the Friends of beers.

I don't.

Even if I find something I kinda like, it'll still hurt my stomach after only a little.

:420: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Honey you KNOW I was a quick reply to this :P and yes I mentioned my dislike of most IPA's :3

I also hate IPA's. My favorite style of beer is pale lager, my second is stout. But I am happy to consume most lagers and ales as long as they have a good flavor and aren't too bitter, which is why I dislike IPA's they are obnoxiously bitter.
