My broker is still optimistic about a rebound but he’s put my stuff in a more defensive stance for the next quarter to be safe.  But the economy is tanking, because it turns out that running on vibes, hate, and tarrifs is stupid.  
 

Honestly if the idea is to piss people off enough there’s enough goodwill towards mass infrastructure projects to employ people, they’re on their way.

Nah, I'm 100% on board with believing they're intentionally tanking the market so all the stock bros can buy cheap to inflate their worth when shit settles down (i.e. when everyone realizes how bad Rs are for economy [again] and expect Dems to fix everything [again]).

This is not something any sane person would cheerlead. The whole 'leaving education to the states' is a lie. There are already too many states trying to funnel public funds earmarked for education into private religious schools and ill-formed 'homeschools' as seen on the Aryan Network.  This is an illegal power grab by someone who doesn't have the Constitutional power to do so. Only Congress can create or dissolve a Department. Something you would be screaming about if this was Biden or Harris doing all this.

Intentionally creating a situation in which no one is capable of doing the job because there are no funds/not enough people is NOT proof that something never worked and should be destroyed immediately. It's a sign that the morons who went out of their way to cut the funds and the people should have been picked up by their ears and yeeted into the sun.
