Oh man maybe I should turn the Horror folder back on, that's buddy's favorite.

That's originally where I was going to post but no real surprise considering it's Sept 1st I found it was locked atm

No, I don't think of Halloween until it cools down.

It's easy to forget when it drops this low in WI that other places are still hot and humid as balls. It's been like a week now of fall like weather here.

Good luck, hopefully shit cools off soon for ya.

Going to start decorating in a few weeks.

Getting the lights and stuff up outside.

But it has to cool down a little first.

At least down to 90 degrees.

Yeah it's already feeling like fall here. Granted we might get a heat wave or two before fall fully sets in but sure as hell feels like fall today.

I think I'm going to start yard decorations a week or so before October although if it keeps up this fall stuff I might just decorate indoors sometime in this next week or so.

I personally don't have a lot of outdoor decorations but I've seen some DIY things and had some ideas I want to try this year instead of buying more.

I don't think we have any indoor decorations. All outdoor. But it's still 100 degrees down here. This summer shit is never going to end this year.

I’ve been watching horror movies more often and it’s been a nice change of pace from holding off til Halloween. I just saw Candyman for the first time and it was pretty awesome.

Yesterday was only mid/upper 70s but humid af, today feels much better even though it's 10 degrees warmer.

I mean, is there even gonna be a Halloween this year?  Door to door stuff was already a big hell no in most communities and items being handed out by strangers to kids with all their rona jizz on it is probably gonna cut that out entirely.

Parties, strangely enough ones encouraging masks to begin with, will still likely not happen.  Haunted houses/woods will be out.

I guess you could enjoy the warm autumn nights because fall isn't a thing any more.

Sucks because I fucking love Halloween, but I wonder if people are even gonna bother this year.

Two and a half weeks until the first day of fall. I am planning on decorating on that day.

We've already told the boy that we don't know if he's gonna be able to go out Trick or Treating. Told if not, we will just buy him some candy. He's not too happy about that idea, because he wants to dress up and go out, but it is what it is.

We are still decorating though.

our first official haunted hop garden is postponed til next year. i was actually kinda excited about that project too :(

we're assuming trick-or-treating will be cancelled. regardless, wife and boys have been up my ass about decorating and getting ready for halloween for almost a month already. they went to spirit halloween today and got some decorations and costumes. i think each of them plans on having a few costumes to burn thru. and apparently we're doing a family-only halloween party in our house, with each room getting its own halloween theme decor.

ugh. i'm just ready to hibernate until this bullshit is all over.

i'm going to try to make 'siren head' decoration.

i wanted to do jack skellington and the tree on the magnolia...but i don't think

i'll have enough $ for both. fabric is expensive yo' and i'm still making the boy's costume (plague dr)

i hope that people come up with a clever plan.  like...iono...put candy in baggies and set at the end of the driveway or something.

makes me sad no trick or treating.
