I'm not making a specific comparison. You just got Dale using a coin to operate a slot machine and moments later operating the slot machine without a need for a coin. Hats that teleport several city blocks to fall neatly on heads after falling off. Jumping off of pendulums and flying off in the opposite direction basic physics says they should... That's just that show's universe and characters, it doesn't say anything about continuity within the show itself. Also I had no idea that orange thing was a fish, thought it was just like a lazy puffball with legs, never watched that show

Banana Joe and Mrs. G. Lato are bananas and icecream respectively, yet there are episodes where characters are eating both. The entire show is a continuity defect, and that's just the first cartoon that came to mind because I can hear it in the living room. Sure I can' get my daughter to dissect Steven Universe in such a patently absurd way as the OP has RRs since I refuse to watch it. My point being, the premise of this thread isn't even slightly true.....Since OP couldn't do it and you seem invested, maybe you would like to telly me which modern cartoons follow this solid continuity aesthetic. When they sing the "binary code" song Cyborg is playing a keytar.... but the keyboard component is not a musical keyboard, it's a computer keyboard!
