Sieg67 Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 Keep in mind that whatever goals you have to better yourself is going to take effort. You can't rely on motivation. Sometimes motivation never comes or doesn't come often enough to make a difference. It's all about self discipline. Force yourself into new habits. Work out, diet, stop drinking/smoking. You're going to have to summon up your will power and stick to it day and day out. No matter how much it sucks, you're eventually going to be happy that you went through with it. If you have a new years resolution, good luck.

jackiemarie90 Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Do better in my classes. Become more focused on my academic goals. Save money, go to more concerts, and take care of my body physically. Also take care of the friendships in my life, instead of isolating myself. 3
PhilosipherStoned Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 I might have some goals, but I think I'm going to leave them a fuzzy amalgamation of thoughts for now.
Gyaos Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Get out of the shitty apartment I'm currently in and rent an actual house.
Doom Metal Alchemist Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 This might not be entirely realistic, but release a demo with my band. 2
avec Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 I made some big intentions this afternoon. Many are continuations from last year because IT IS A LONG LONG LONG PROCESS to change. At least for me - doing deep work. Also, jobs suck. Also also, all signs are pointing to me needing to let a lot of shit from my past go. You know, the fun stuff. 3
Sir Teddybar Gut Fullung Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Save up enough money to actually buy a house in the town I currently live and actually establish roots. 1
bnmjy Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Pay off debt by a significant amount, lose weight, post moar pics of the celestial clunge. 1
Bouvre Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 I'm always trying to read more. It'll always be my resolution. This upcoming year, I'm focusing on reading more literary journals. I've got several books already on hold, but so much incredible work is being put out by journals, and I'm missing a lot of it. 1
renjifan Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 To take better care of myself. I know that sounds super cliché, but I don’t just mean physically. I need to focus on my mental health just as much as my physical health. 1
Ginguy Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Have more fun and possibly be more spontaneous. Maybe I'll go to Kyoto, cross that off the bucket list.
