I always spend it with my mom, dad, and brother

When that's done I go hangout with my best friend's family where there is generally enough booze to make the elephants go extinct

A safety net plan after dealing with any family drama is pretty awesome.

Back from. Idk I feel so many different ways. Not sure how to describe it.

Sounds like a lot to process, which can thankfully not be done right away.

Yeah. Idk it's a mixture of sobering reality and sad. Hurts man. I miss my family. I'll get over it once I get back into the swing of things. All good times have that bittersweet tinge

It's really sweet that you were able to spend time with them though.  Is it a ways to travel or you're not able to see them often?

Its a ten hour drive. I can only afford to see them once a year. Sometimes I don't even get that. What's getting me right now is the changes. We're all growing up and it's eating at me. I'm not supposed to have feelings lol

You've learnt that when you spam you get real racist and antisemitic.

Having the money is roooouugh!  I (purposely) live halfway across the country from my parents, but miss my extended family a lot.  There are lots of cousins I haven't met and I feel like I'm missing out on so much.  Being able to be there in person feels so good when I'm able to visit.

Both of my Aunt's on my Dad's side are in their 70s now and I wish I could live nearby and see them without all the bs that would come with that.

If I say no...

If I say yes...

If I put this monkey into an orange vest...

If a koala and a panda can do a bench press...

I'm very sorry to hear your parents were shitty to you. I feel you on that. My parents are a mess. My aunt and uncle raised me. Just talking about this is already making me feel better. Preciate it Holmes 💪🏾

It's mostly I gave some thought as to how to reply and then my brain wandered off.  So it's...good?

But bad in the conversation department?  idfk

Not alone, but not with my family. I just found out why I associate lasagna with Christmas, I guess my grandma made it every Christmas eve. I'm excited for it though, our first Christmas was kinda not, we lived in a closet and exchanged gifts like a week prior. Now there are presents wrapped under a tree and I'm not freaking out about money.

I'll get around for the holidays at some point, but right now I enjoy 50 degree winters.
