I went to the paint store to get a pint of paint and a brush.  Turns out the store won't sell less than a quart any more.  Wtf is this?  It's like I have to buy a whole cow when I want a glass of milk.  

Alright, so seventeen dollars later, I have a freshly painted DVD case and way too much paint left over.  

For a while, I felt cheated and later realized I had an asset.  My kitchen cabinets hadn't gotten a fresh coat of paint since Adam got kicked out of Eden.  Sure, the walls, ceilings and moldings get done every five years.  The cabinets?  It's like, who ever cared?  Okay... now the cabinets have a new look that matches one piece of furniture.

Problem solved.

They're metal cabinets.  Half a cup of bleach in a gallon of water.  Then, use thick terry rags to repeatedly wash down the surfaces. Let dry, then add the first coat.  Wait a day to put on the second and third coat.

Paint, brushes, rollers, drop cloths, edging tape, roller pans and other things along those lines are all they sell.  No hardware, cooking supplies or outboard engines.  Not even energy drinks.

They used to sell pints for small projects, but I guess there isn't enough money it these days.

I'm sure most people would rather discard and replace furniture than paint it.  What a waste.

I did the same in my mother's kitchen twelve years ago and it still looks like it was just done today.  No peeling, fading or stain bleed.  

In a kitchen, stain bleed is a lot more about grease than nicotine.  For every piece of bacon fried, there's that oily vapor that just sticks to everything.  The bleachy water removes that.

She’s sitting about 8 feet away from me right now. So, kinda. But we don’t discuss out loud too much of what’s going on. We just type and fuck off. Right now, she just logged off and is stealing my GODDAMN candy. 🤣

Haha! I’m slower than snails humping. She would catch me. I have no advantage, unless I make the kids do it. The kids could totally make a bullshit request and I could film it from a safe distance.

Or Roku.  I have a Blu-ray and a region free dvd player.  Roku is a thing I might get later.  Somebody local is now offering totally wireless high speed internet.  No cable, phone line or fiber optics required and it works with any tablet or laptop.  But first, I'm buying a new laptop.

I just know what the man in the paint store said.  I'm not traveling out of town to get a smaller can and I simply don't give a burp in Hell what "most" paint stores are doing.  I have to deal with what's in front of me and if you think that makes me a "dumb fuck", you seriously have a lot of growing up to do.

I was going to because when I hear DVD case I think those booklet thingies with the plastic inserts but I really didn't even want to get into it since he's too dumb to know what he actually painted.

I have to know. Theres no way im sleeping tonight until i kniw why he painted a dvd case.

Youre probably right tho its not a dvd case but still what did he paint???
