Yeah this game's probably over. Even if we come back honestly don't care atm. Welp, think I'll try and get some sleep. Still hope the Steelers can win later on today.

It was a catch! He had two fucking hands on the ball.. yes the ball moves a little.. if anything ground fumble and recovery.. the call should have never been overturned

Well that was some nice sleep. Anywho just checked the scores looked like we won. Foles had a good game but our defense was garbage. Still, a win's a win. Christmas Night should be interesting.

Also damnit Steelers! How much fucking longer must I see the Patriots win?

it always seems like these obscure or interpretive rulings always favor the pats. the nfl needs to seriously update their rule book. this is the kind of crap that turns people away from the game.

also i really hate the fumble ruling at the end zone. it punishes offenses way too harshly.

The Eagles won't win not because of lack of Wentz but because of their defense, or more specifically their coordinator.

You can't expect to be this gun shy on the blitz and win in the playoffs, the front four aren't going to get pressure consistently unless you help them here and there and in turn keep the offense honest.

All the O line is gonna do is double team Fletcher Cox all day and with a weak secondary that's been exposed they're just going to pick them apart.

I still give them a shot in the passing game and I know people are high on Wentz (for good reason) but really their receiving options are nuts, Burton has 3 TDs in two games (I think) Ertz is one of the best recieving tight ends in the league, Agholor is super quick with good hands when his head is in it, Smith is still pretty solid and last but not least I'm pretty sure Jeffery would catch a ball thrown into a black hole.

I guess my point is the passing game is likely to be far from the issue.

i didnt watch the eagles games, my side of the country only had one televised morning games vikes and bungels was over before the half. afternoon games werent that good either. rams got a dominating but boring win at seattle, shitty officiating brought down what would have been a decent game with steelers and pats. at least the niners won. jimmy looked good and should earn a starting spot for next season unless the niners draft the diamond in the rough. and finally my team loss because of a rule that punishes offenses too harshly. i dont even see why it's there.

but yeah i see the scoreboard and offense isnt a problem with the eagles. just like the vikings i have a feeling that they can plug in any decent back up and the offense will be humming just fine. i wanna say that maybe it was a fluke game?

It's nice to see a healthy dose of Patriot hatred in this thread.  I'm just pissed my man JuJu's 69 yard catch was wasted on that bullshit call.

The only people saying the call was correct are Pats fans and idiots that believe everything said by those with some authority.

Nantz and Romo were even like wtf?  It took a few minutes for Romo to realize why the review took so long, being a Jets fan, I knew right away what was going on and how it was gonna go down

That being said, Ben did a stupid by getting that pass INT, shoulda gave the ball to Bell and if he didn't punch it in, kick the FG, people lose to the Pats in ever increasing creative ways

Ben really did screw that up.  I know why they didn't run it given that there was :30 on the game clock, and a run wouldn't give them the kind of flexibility to create a play.  But, that pass was ill advised at best.  He should have run out of the pocket and then tried to make something happen that way.

i think that last play was more of a coaching decision.

i get it that you gotta play aggressive to beat the pats but that was a very risky play.

They had a time out though at that point, didn't they?

I dunno, seems like everyone gets dumb against the Pats:(

I get it but given the fact that you already had a TD taken back, why even tempt fate?

Kick the FG if need be, regroup and go into OT, bing bang boomxD

Seems like it.  The Pats are not looking so good going into the playoffs, though.  Their secondary nearly cost them the game, and the Steelers are not the only team going into the playoffs with a productive aerial attack.

I'll say this right now, if they decide to fire Tomlin, I hope the jets kick Bowels to the curb and take himxD

The Jets and every other team not in the playoffs will be thinking the exact same thing.  But, you guys really do deserve a good coach for once.

I'm hoping that when the Jets face NE at Gillette it's for the top seed and I pray we fucking ruin those assholes dayxD

I don't think we'll beat NE with Petty but hey, crazier things have happened

I don't think they'll fire Tomlin, he's a damn fine coach imo, Marvin Lewis can stay away though, don't want himxD

Just be thankful ASU scooped up Herm Edwards before he could bring his crazy back to Sunday.

Didn't Herm Edwards coach the Jets before....kinda ringing a bell but not sure and if I'm remembering right, he wasn't that great, probably better than Kotite thoughxD

I think everyone is better than that, but Herm was still sub 5 in his four five years with the Jets.  I wonder what would have happened if you had held on to Pete, though....

you should know better than anyone that the key to beating the pats is to never let your foot off the pedal. if there is an opportunity to beat them then you take it. but the steelers should have been smart about it. i think they did have that time out and they should have taken it at this time.

they might not be looking that good now but that team is still a smart and very well coached team. they will be ready for the playoffs and the steelers better bring everything they got to beat them. i give the pats a good chance against any team as well.

They are indeed a well coached and veteran team.  But that late game bust is more than just troublesome, especially after losing the previous week.  JuJu didn't just make a big time catch, he also benefitted from bad tackling that turned a 30 or so yard reception into nearly double that.  Even the game ending interception was pure luck.  That's a bad look against a Steeler rematch and, more ominously, against a Ram or Eagle SP matchup.
