are they primarily inside or outside dogs? If it doesn't get too cold where you live you could always buy some dog clippers and keep their fur short

My old border collie/retriever mix wouldn't let one of those get near her, she didn't like the noise. I ended up buying this special brush that's designed for hairier dogs and it's suppose to remove the loose fur from their inner coat and it seemed to work pretty well *side note I put a dip in about 3 mins ago and apparently didn't brush my finger off enough because I wiped my eye mid post and now it's burning like crazy TL:DR I think I just sacrificed my eye to make this post
