  1. I have no idea, but it’d come in handy for the stockpile of Outback Steakhouse gift cards I’ve been given over the years.
  2. The part of “What’s My Age Again?” when the narrator makes a prank-call about her girlfriend’s dad getting arrested for violating sodomy laws.
  3. It was created by a British guy in the 1800’s whose design was used to preserve the carbonation. The marble also prevents the drink from pouring out as easily, but I’m not sure if preventing spillage was one of the reasons it was used for ramune.
  4. I was about to say the one cautionary thing about the ramune bottle is whether someone’s willing to break the bottle for the marble. Ages ago, when I bought one at the mall, the cashier had to ask if I was planning on smashing the bottle in the parking lot because kids used to crack them open on a curb to get them out.
  5. My elementary school had “Red Light, Green Light” during field days, so I definitely felt a sense of dread during the first episode.
  6. Jerking off is out of the question unless you want to rip your dong off.
  7. It’s alright, but I’m not a fan of the aftertaste.
  8. I’m proud of Baki because it always felt like an underdog series. It’s such an easy series to clown on because of its art style or how quickly his daughter’s manga Beastars became well-received. But from the spoilers, it sounds like a good time. As a fan of K-Dramas, I also had a decent time with Squid Game. It’s definitely more of a death game serial than the romcom crime thrillers I’m used to, but it does tick the boxes I got from Battle Royale or DR.
  9. I got into the second one last year and it’s been a great time.
  10. Knowing that it came from the popularity of a meme rather than an interest in cooking, I can only assume this tastes like plain spaghetti tossed in some Jets Pizza sauce.
  11. It’s always morbidly amusing to see which shutdown mega-chain has their store repurposed as a Spirit Halloween. This year, our closest K-Mart joined the club.
  12. Sweet & Sour, Honey Mustard, or Sweet Sriracha.
  13. That’s the one! I was trying to look up what it was online and directed a rant at the first result I saw without listening as to avoid having to hear it again. But congrats to Kreepa’s “Oh No” for being the only song designed to piss everyone off. Update - Just listened to the beginning of the Capone one today and heard the same chipmunk intro. I can’t get past it.
  14. People play devil’s advocate for the stupidest ideas and the shittiest people on social media.
  15. We’re still being lead to believe that James Cordon deserves to be in movies.
  16. The Misadventures of Tron Bonne is probably my most expensive game. It was overpriced at around $50 back when I got it, but now it’s even steeper. Def Jam Fight for NY and Samurai Champloo Sidetracked are also games I got that ended up becoming even more expensive over time. Thrift shopping ended up landing me a couple games that I feel like skyrocketed over the years as well.
  17. I can’t think of a song that was designed to piss people off as much as Capone’s “Oh No”. I feel like I need to listen to a really crappy song as a palette cleanse every time I hear it.
  18. So far, I watched four of the shorts (Tatooine Rhapsody, The Twins, The Village Bride, and The Elder). I was looking forward to the Trigger shorts, but I honestly enjoyed the Village Bride and Tatooine Rhapsody the most. I still need to see the other ones, especially The Ninth Jedi and Lop & Ocho. It is weird how many celebrity voices there were in this, but of the shorts I saw, only The Twins felt like it was oddly cast.
  19. I have old manga I collected from high school, but nowadays, I’ll buy single out-of-sequence manga volumes from parts of a story I liked in the anime adaptation.
  20. I just heard a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s Gypsy from an indie band and my experience was like that. The dude sounded like he was from a bad Weezer cover band, but I was still vibing to it because the song is that nice. Same with covers of Heart of Glass and Everybody Wants to Rule the World. If it hits the same emotional notes as the original, then it doesn’t matter if it sounds like turds. I’m still having a good time.
  21. I’d still have to stand by the ghost mom from The Grudge. I was trying to think of dudes just to balance the scale, but there aren’t many horror movie guys that would feel morally correct to shack up with. Maybe Pyramid Head.
