I don't care about any iteration of Dragonball, but even I can see taking that show's universe and putting it into a current day Earth high school scenario is not a good idea, lol.

The funny thing about that one though is like it wasn't universally reviled like Super Mario Bros or Dragonball Evolution, instead literally no one cared. As soon as it came out, I never heard about it from anyone again, basically.

I think they made a live action Double Dragon movie when I was in high school (never saw it). Maybe it would funny to corporate bits about horrible video game to movie adaptations in your act.
