  1. So, sponges is all paid up now, right?
  2. ...I have been on these boards (or the internet in general) way too damned long, to have actually predicted the coffee enema post.
  3. I might also agree with sponges, if I actually thought anyone attempting to target a representative could actually find Israel on a map.
  4. Trick question. You can't steal from rich people, you can only steal from the people they exploit to get rich.
  5. I swear every time I've checked in on this show it's gone in a completely different direction. Does the story even remotely resemble what it started out as anymore?
  6. A couple more easy ones: Konichiwhat's up? Arigathanks.
  7. If you thought 2020 was bad, just wait for the sequel. Actually, can't decide if 2021 is the sequel or the reboot. 2022 sounds more like a 2020 sequel.
  8. I think by definition all drinks are solutions, yes.
  9. Call Me, Call Me was always the saddest part of this series for me. Better question: Her identity is completely fabricated. How did it even reach her?
  10. Took me a few too many episodes to realize they're shortening the opening now as well as the ending.
  11. Finally got around to watching this. Maybe it's just nostalgia goggles, or a bad memory, but I don't remember the original making quite so many political jabs. Enjoyed the animation. Writing was eh. Seemed like they weren't sure what audience they were actually targeting. Leaned heavily towards the older demographic, but with everything reined in for some semblance of young appeal. I kinda felt like they completely missed the mark on what was so endearing about the original. A kids show that was clever. Turning it into a young adults' show that is cartoony is just out of touch. And yeah, obviously they also needed a more diverse cast. Taking the variety out of the show is, again, missing out on the original charm.

  13. Hard disagree.
  14. I don't really mind paying for any subscription service at this point, since any of it will turn out cheaper than cable. I did download Tubi on the Roku a while back. Seem to recall I wasn't impressed at the time. Selection looks much improved. Or maybe I never actually looked into it like I thought I did. Some dubbed, too, even. Subs are fine and all, but sometimes, just want to sorta half pay attention while doing something else. Good start, probably use it for background noise instead of TNG on pluto when there's too many Wesley episodes. I suppose truthfully, I could probably literally sub to netflix, hulu, crunchyroll, and funi, and still probably save money over the cable sub. Just sorta trying to determine if there's anything I'm not considering, or anything I'll still be missing out on or whatever.
  15. Not a hole. High layer of ice crystals. Halo caused by refraction of light.
  16. I forgot to bump this on Saturday, the only day this folder is active, it seems.
  17. Have noticed lately my tv viewing habits have largely dwindled, to the point where I mostly just watch Toonami and maybe a couple other things scattered here and there. Went with cable for DVR reasons, but wondering if I can cut some expenses. I know there's Sling, but the user experience was just awful. App just constantly crashing, DVR functionality clunky, would rather avoid going back to that if possible. Is pretty much everything aired already on crunchyroll or netflix or something else? Preferably not scattered across several services. Not sure if [as] app/site is viable at all. Am I missing any alternatives?
  18. Considering the closest we have to this season (2005) didn't close out until New Year's, I'd say strap in. That year had three storms blow up after this date, Delta, Epsilon, and Zeta. And we've already smashed past that with three storms further. The "season" is only when we've typically expected storms. Expect the "season" to shift as the climate keeps adjusting. All that said, NHC isn't showing any disturbances, so, who knows. Not sure I'd rule out any December storms, tho. It's 20fucking20 after all.
  19. Up next would be Kappa. I just wanna see some corners of twitch going crazy after that one's named
  20. This thread may be providing the wrong context for that statement.
