I suppose it's a question of whether he was solely responsible, or if his legal team were in any way involved. Per the CNN thing posted earlier, there was a "team" involved in discussing how to move forward. Absolutely the spiteful interpretation is what you'd expect from him. And assuming there was nothing inherently illegal about releasing those names, his team wouldn't have had any reason to stop him. Just. Would also not put it past the people he surrounds himself with to just not even be aware of that potentially causing him further problems later. In any case. What's the bigger picture here? Are all the cronies still trying to suckle his smegma despite all this? Is Dilbert Douchebag up there still representative of the wider base? @Ginguy? Got any hilarious frog memes for this one?

Worst case. Best case, it's just another demonstration of the incompetence of the people he surrounds himself with to have made that move while "fully cooperating." On one hand, I'd still definitely be in the "Ok, but will there actually be any convictions from this?" camp. But, like.... aside from deliberately choosing not to, it's hard to see why they wouldn't take this all the way. A warrant like this wasn't requested just for kicks. Surely once everything is sorted and filed and all the ducks are in a row, they wouldn't go to all this trouble and not take the finishing blow. Is what I'm trying real hard to convince myself of.....

Wait, so, Trump, as president, knew Obama had classified documents, and did nothing about it? Riiiiggghhhttt.

As I've read it, there may yet be some cause for optimism. Being a DoJ operation, sounds like they're held to a much higher standard when it comes to getting a warrant for things like this. Basically had to know what crime had potentially been committed, exactly what evidence there would be of said potential crime, and knowledge that it would be on premises at the time the warrant was executed. Assuming all that is true, seems very likely they knew something was there and would've gotten to it. But still, like you say, that doesn't necessarily mean anything comes of it.. maybe a small glimmer of hope, tho?

Now, I ain't saying they've clearly got dirt on everybody involved after the raid, but, y'know... wouldn't be shocked to see more of this..

Well, as long as we're rolling this country back several decades, at least that's one thing we can look forward to, right? -
I had the misfortune of hearing some of the local political ads here the other day, and damn, they all still sound like they're pushing for insurrection or secession or something. "I stood up to Biden. Vote for me and we can keep DC out of our state." Ya huh. So, you just, like, don't want to participate in the country, then? But when it comes to federal aid programs....? If they wanna "kick DC out of the state" then DC oughtta be kicking them out of the process.

Evidently the wiki has been edited for some reason. Last I read from someone doing the math, his birthday was 8/27. Photo evidence. Either way, looking forward to the 1-hour work day 2 days a week by the time most of us start hitting retirement age.

At least he's playing a good distraction from MD's claims that "the left agenda" is widely unpopular. Yeah. I'm sure access to health care, education, living wages, and general basic human rights is a pretty unpopular position.
-
"The left" ain't building any gallows for any of its own party members. But do continue carrying on with the "turning on itself" subject on the dying message board where literally everyone wants you gone.

NFTs are still a thing? Thought they took a massive nosedive as everyone began to realize what a scam they are. -
Maybe someday cops will be trained to not shoot people running away. I mean. Probably not in this country. But it could still happen somewhere.

I believe the difference is you can post in one and the other is locked.

It's almost police related... Y'know, the part that comes after. For the ones they don't kill. tl;dr, Arizona is still a slave state.

Draft ruling shows Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade: report

This part is kinda what felt most important out of that. It's not about dismissing trans experiences, just communicating a sex issue rather than a gender issue. But, on one hand, as katt points out, not every AFAB individual falls into that reproductive category. On the other hand.... I have a hard time imagining trans individuals truly being put out by "non-inclusive" language with regards to reproductive health. This feels like an argument being made on their behalf that they (may have) never wanted. As pooh said, a distraction. But, I could just be insulated/sheltered; maybe some in trans community actually do appreciate the attempt, idk. Either way, I'd like to believe they also have enough sense to recognize the importance of the rights under fire right now, and have no desire to quibble over the language. -

While your conclusion might be correct, this part is almost entirely wrong. Eggs can in fact drown (is why sea turtles still lay their eggs on the beach), and several lizards are capable of producing clonal daughters without need for fertilization via parthenogenesis. Bit of dirty googling shows it's also not uncommon for some lizards to be dumb and lay eggs in a water dish. And also some do just lay infertile eggs. And most pet lizards don't poo white pellets. -

Strikes me as something similar to a lot of As Seen on TV products that you think are just ridiculous at first but turns out they're not really intended for able-bodied folks, they just gotta be marketed as such to get out on shelves for the disabled individuals that they really benefit. Still, not really sure it fills any particular need in the market that isn't already covered by some form of easy slip-on shoe. Looks cool, tho.
