Look dude, based on the information I think you've given us...You say you're 40. a 20 year gap, I have to assume, means shes 20....Even if these numbers are exact, you are walking a really weird line for what I would have to believe is your pursuit of a sexual relationship.

That said, I have no advice, I've given you plenty and you've given me excuses in return...just know I wait for the next arc with bated breath.

Ima be serious.  Yes, it is a real problem dating someone that’s half your age.  You’re not going to have much in common.  That being said, you’re interpreting those looks that way because you’re experiencing regret for not being someone who could be in a relationship with her.  The fact you’re gauging her against nieces and nephews is less about you actually thinking about her in a romantic way and more about you looking at her as a reflection of what you think you could have been 20 years ago.  You’re using a (probably) innocent glance to beat yourself up.

Depends if you’re in your 30s and it’s a 20yr gap of her being younger, that’s weird. If you’re in your 40s somewhere and she in her 20s, still weird but you don’t strike me as a super mature guy. Ask her wtf she’s looking at? Ask her “do I got an eye booger or something. Why you looking at me?”

No cute 20-something is looking at anyone within our age range in that way. Whether we got to experience it or not, we are all old and far removed from the era of life that involves cute 20-somethings. If she is looking at you, it may be for one of a million reasons but that is not one of them.

You may have to ask yourself if it would be a huge problem if you find out her mom is closer to your age and equally hot. Would having a hot potential stepmom complicate things further?

when i was in my 20's. i was an attractive enough woman, so IF i was looking at an older man, OBVIOUS older man, it would be because how handsome, or distinguish they are. THAT's checking out. 

the balding middle aged men; only if i caught them staring me down, looking SUPER creepy, OR looks like a balding middle aged actor.
