My co-workers are troglodytes who talk about Friends like it’s as offensive as South Park or Always Sunny. I swear my team lead just looks up this shit to get upset at cause they were like “Some guy who was a guest star for 3 episodes is buttmad about the lack of diversity in Friends”. Like every three months, they’ll finds a new reason to rant and rave about how people insult Friends for being outdated with its gay or black representation. Now it’s a guest star!? For three episodes!? Yeah, by this point, they’re just looking for reasons to keep bringing this shit up as if the edgy content in Friends is relevant outside of sad old fart circles like theirs.

The Giants have been facing a ton of blowback for insulting their queer fans by having three pitchers deface Pride hats with Bible verses intending to take the rainbow away from them. If they felt this strongly, they could’ve opted to wear their regular hats, but deliberately chose to antagonize fans specifically on the San Francisco Giants’ Pride night where they were expected to be accepted and respected by their favorite team. This originally happened on the 12th, but since then, it’s ballooned into a larger conversation about Pride in baseball with all of the other teams except for the Texas Rangers taking part. The A’s in particular managed to hold a Pride night without hitches and were immediately treated like heroes by comparison. Now the DoJ is probing the MLB to investigate players’ “religious freedom” to present their homophobia in a flowery manner. Currently, the pitchers are trying to get back to focusing on ball and citing Clayton Kershaw as their reason for doing it, but it comes off like the same lack of critical thought as the rookie who ditched a game for the Charlie Kirk memorial.

Devilman (2004) - 1/5 It certainly earned its bad reputation. I’d wager to say it’s as bad as DB Evolution.

I know it wouldn’t be as impressive considering how I’ve seen people bash older graphics, but I think I would’ve preferred a port of the 3DS version because it still holds up good. Will be cautiously optimistic about it being decent though just by virtue that it’d take far more effort to mess up OoT.

I remember her being such a fun presence on the Action Discussion folder. We didn’t talk much, but it was always wonderful to see her on weekly episode threads and posts about Adult Swim anime. May she rest easy and peacefully.

In a way, throwing down on the equally expensive seats is just as wasteful as betting on the games.
