can someone hurry up and push his shit in so we can disappear this thread into the void 😆

I just assumed it meant Kenny was afraid Buddy could resurrect shit.

Like literally resurrect it - put on some crazy robe, maybe sacrifice Leather Roc or something, and than the turds in Kenny's toilet stand up and start mocking him.

"We're literal shit and even we think you're full of it."

Representatives are allocated according to population size, not the number of voters.  So, dumping twenty or thirty thousand more people into a district would split the district and double the number of available representatives.

then why did republicans spend the past four years bussing non-citizens to blue districts

I didn’t say they were allocated based on voters I specifically said based off population. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to maintain population size to keep districts as they are. NY already has had a steady decline of seats currently we have 26 but the state has always benefited from a bustling immigrant population. She wasn’t saying to bus them in, like how Abbott and Desantis did. She simply stated facts. She’s got no issue with migrants and stated redistricting as a reason. It’s not her fault conservatives are so hateful that they cut their noses to spite their faces.

He doesn’t understand how what she said is a big nothing burger and isn’t even as egregious as say, gerrymandering districts so that US Reps are more likely to be republican, or making the state and local level more conservative than the state actually is, leading to more conservative judges and justices, whatever the case

He also doesn’t get that conservatives have been trying to get non citizens removed from being counted on the census for years now. He doesn’t realize videos like this are nothing more than rage bait in the hopes of getting idiots like him behind the idea so they can finally make it happen.

he probably doesn’t care about any of that. It’s his fetish to misunderstand political topics so other people will beat him upside the head. Figuratively speaking ofc

Like does he think adding people consolidates power in urban districts (which are almost universally blue) when it actually defuses that power and gives Republicans a better chance to break off conservative neighborhoods?

Drumpf pardoned nearly 1600 people who were caught and found guilty of participating in the Jan 6th insurrection. Their actions ranged from breaking windows to beating cops to smearing feces on walls to destroying offices/stealing from said offices. Currently at least a baker's dozen of those 'very special people' are back in prison awaiting sentences for other horrible crimes, some including child rape. At least a couple have been blown away by cops for their repeated bad behavior.

The party of morality keeps being perverts. Why do they always tell on themselves?

If you don’t want to click the link, the Oklahoma Superintendent had just, you know, naked ladies on the TV in his office.

This is especially hilarious since they’re mandating the Bible in OK.

And wouldn’t you know it, things are going great for the kids.

As far as I'm concerned, the only valid reason to teach anything from the Quran in public school is to teach that Islam and the Quran in and of themselves don't promote terrorism, because too many ignorant people think that and use that misconception to discriminate against Muslims and Arabs.

Though these days that's (hopefully) not such a problem with kids, so throw it out of the curriculum.

But even so, what public schools are MANDATED to teach the Quran?

These media sources are moderate to strongly biased toward conservative causes through story selection and/or political affiliation. They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports, and omit information reporting that may damage conservative causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy. See all Right Bias sources.

Overall, we rate the ACLJ as a borderline extreme right-wing source that is mixed in factual reporting due to the use of poor sources and a mixed fact-check record.

It’s nowhere near the same thing as posting the Ten Commandments in schools. I don’t like them posted in court houses either but at least there’s some context for that because the Ten Commandments are basically where our laws come from

The sad thing is that large chunks of those huge statues of the 10 Commandments posted on government property were put there by Cecil B. DeMille and used to promote his movie. They were ads disguised as civil teaching moments for delinquent youths.

His article was shit. They’re saying the fill in the blank “Allah is_______ as in Judaism and Christianity” the answer being “the same god” which is true and not an indoctrination by any means

They CLAIM that it's the same.  Nothing can be further from the truth.

For the record, I'm not a Christian and I don't endorse religious text of any sort in public schools or any schools that receive public funding.

It's the same god.

Angry masculine mountain war god worshipped by nomads that came to be known as Jews; Christ was Jewish and therefore from that same war god belief system; disciples go forth talking about 'Jesus' teachings' therefore becoming the first 'Christians' and converting people to that faith; Mohammad had contact with early christians running around ~600 ce which led him to his own various 'encounters' with the angels of the god of Abraham and Islam was born.

Frickin' muppet.

Well...

Christianity and Islam both claim to have one absolute guaranteed path to Heaven.

If it were the same deity, the paths preached by each would be exactly the same.  They're not.  The two competing paths are as different from one another as pillows are from bricks.
