katt_goddess Posted August 1 Posted August 1 Yeah, nothing to see here. Totally not corruption or abuse of power. Might be Hunter Biden's laptop though. Let's blame that for a news cycle. 2 Quote

Insipid Posted August 11 Posted August 11 I put my tin foil hat on. Whatever, someone else here has fortunately been outsperging me, although I'm not really on the spectrum . . . Anyway, I have been playing with the idea that perhaps Trump is so much of a megalomaniac that he killed Epstein himself. He was in New Jersey at the time, so at least the distance is plausible. The rest is a stretch but still . . . I like to play with the idea that Trump, who is used to treating NYC as his playground, knew how to get to the prison undetected and commit the act. 1 Quote
discolé monade Posted August 11 Posted August 11 and trump gets away with this too. GM got a lighter sentence, although, poor thing, can't work with the puppies because she's a monster...but hey, as long as she feels better about her station in life, currently. weird, she should be deported...and yet.... 4 Quote

Raptorpat Posted August 12 Posted August 12 I believe the judge. DOJ trying to unseal the grand jury records (which don't include the list) so they can argue no reference to Trump means he is innocent. 6 Quote

discolé monade Posted Saturday at 03:28 PM Posted Saturday at 03:28 PM Washington, DC — Representative Ro Khanna (CA-17), member of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, released the following statement on the files received by the committee yesterday from the Department of Justice: “Only 3% of the documents given to the Oversight Committee are new. The rest are already in the public domain. Less than 1% of files have been released. DOJ is stonewalling. The survivors deserve justice and the public deserves transparency. Congress must pass my bill with Rep. Thomas Massie, the Epstein Files Transparency Act, to force the full release of the Epstein files with redactions to protect the victims. On September 3rd, I’m holding a press conference with survivors of Epstein and Maxwell’s abuse. Some will be speaking for the first time. We’ll hear from them why releasing this information is so important,” said Rep. Ro Khanna. 2 Quote
SwimOdin Posted Tuesday at 11:34 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:34 PM Quote WASHINGTON—Today, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform released 33,295 pages of Epstein-related records that were provided by the U.S. Department of Justice. On August 5, Chairman Comer issued a subpoena for records related to Mr. Jeffrey Epstein, and the Department of Justice has indicated it will continue producing those records while ensuring the redaction of victim identities and any child sexual abuse material. https://oversight.house.gov/release/oversight-committee-releases-epstein-records-provided-by-the-department-of-justice/ I can only assume, having not read it, that Trump is one of the redacted “victims” 1 1 Quote
_lost_username_ Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I'm impressed that people still care considering attention spans are about 10 seconds long if it's not on their screen constantly, especially with Trump just filling the zone. 1 Quote

I mean, she has been beating the drum for releasing the Epstein files all along. It’s only recently that Trump has been weakened enough in the eyes of his base that she can speak out without being afraid of His Moldiness turning on her. She’s always been the poster child for coat tail riding. 1 Quote

She has also been very adamantly against what Israel is doing in Palestine, being the first republican representative to call it a "genocide" Some claim this is because she is anti-Semitic, I personally think she got tired of being passed over for cabinet positions while her own party argued if she was a "trans woman." I think she's trying to create her own little branch in the GOP now, and it looks like she's going full woman power. Which, hey! If it gets shit done, and she actually helps these SA survivors, fucking awesome! I don't think it's a "rats leaving the sinking ship" scenario so much as she sees a potential power vacuum happening and she's making moves that will make people on both sides happy 1 Quote
