The Manhattan shooting just took a strange turn.  His actions concerning his death and the letter support the CTE revenge motive, but he just happened to kill a big wig working for one of the most evil companies on the planet.  So was it deliberate Luigi style revenge or a screw up?

Watching the local news cover an active shooter situation at Villanova University outside of Philly. 

Edit: Apparently the whole thing was a hoax. Someone's getting clapped with federal charges.

Maybe.  What if it was a good faith report?  "Hey there's some fat guy in a mask, black baseball cap with white letters I can't make out & ill fitting bullet proof tac vest waddling around on campus waving a rifle around!"

A fully grown man went and attacked children but guns aren’t the problem, right? I’m so tired of reading this shit and people saying it’s a mental health issue not a gun issue but it’s both. There’s not enough mental health treatment in this country. Nothing consistent and until that happens guns are the fuckin problem because they’re too easy to obtain

They think being LGBT is a more dangerous mental condition than shit like this.

i have a lot of trouble believing anything.

The shooter was a transgender, anti-christian racist with Sam Fischer's load out.

Seems too on the nose...not saying that archetype can't exist, but it conveniently gives bigots, and racial minorities a common enemy, and that activates my tinfoil senses.

This always bothers me when a tragedy happens 

2 kids are dead, and the media is running with any info they can get on the shooter while blasting their name and face all over the news

 

You would think we as a nation would learn at some point not to glorify these assholes, yet, here we are again

For the record, this isn't directed at you, I'm in agreement

This is gonna sound absolutely fucking awful but I don't even care anymore: why can't people in this situation have the stones to just blow their own brains out instead of taking a bunch of innocent people along with them?

Probably because they don’t get the attention or notoriety they seek (whether they live to see it or not) if they just blow their own heads off. The media gives them attention and then the informative murder porn networks give them even more attention only weeks later

How many of these shooters were confirmed transgender? One, maybe 2?  How many female mass shooters have there been? One, maybe 2? How many were straight white men?  All the others save another couple of incidents?

the problem isn’t transgender people

this is about (in more cases than not) small minded men children not getting the full attention they feel they so rightly deserve, because they are seen as a, b, c, they play victim to not being given x,y,z.

now people are giving the mayor shit because they still don’t want the NG. I don’t blame them wtf can they do anyway?  Plant some trees. I also find it really fuckin convenient that something like this would happen just as Trump has been making threats to send in the National Guard.  
 

thing is crime has been decreasing drastically in Chicago this year. They don’t need Trump fuckin things up

The guy that dressed up like a cop and went on an assassination spree in MN was a white MAGAt who had a list of mostly democratic politicians on his target list. Shitler didn't even bother to call up the governor after that shooting - a thing that is [ unfortunately ] seen as a common and decent thing to do when an extremely violent shooting incident occurs. 

This person shoots up a MN church that they had been in all likelihood forced to attend, a church that I'm more than willing to guess had 0 compassion for her while growing up and was now facing a mass of shittery from the government for just trying to exist. The part in the manifesto to their mom about being sorry for not living up to the expectations kind of says it all. And yet, this apparently requires all the thoughts, prayers and -phobic fearmongering possible.
