EmpressAngel Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 This is genuinely the most I've ever enjoyed an episode of Sword Art. 6
Delaclease Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Guess all cable companies said fuck Sword Art 1
DangerMouse Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Guess we'll have to learn about the project this season is named after next week 1
AnimationFan14 Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 At least with extra commercials I now have more ideas of where I wanna eat tomorrow 1

CorbeauKarasu Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 did we skip the rest of the episode to go ight into megalobox???? 1
ben0119 Posted March 17, 2019 Author Posted March 17, 2019 THEY JUST SKIPPED HALF THE EPISODE! WHAT BULLSHIT! IS THIS SOME KIND OF JOKE?!

3ngag3 Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Well, maybe the west coast airings will be less glitchy.
ben0119 Posted March 17, 2019 Author Posted March 17, 2019 Not good. There was important information in this episode.

Dark_Cloud_Overhead Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 I thought something strange was going on. For a moment I imagined the A.I. from the show came alive and in its first step decided to eat Toonami, before going on to consume all of the internet, create a robot army, and finally enslave all of mankind. Sigh. Too bad it was just technical difficulties. Well, there's always tomorrow. 2 1
The1gairon Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Well at least we know clearly what this week's theme is... 1
3ngag3 Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Well, SAO is on here in the west coast. Time to see if they fixed their mistake.
ben0119 Posted March 17, 2019 Author Posted March 17, 2019 3 minutes ago, 3ngag3 said: Aaaand it's dead here too. Pathetic. What sort of clown car full of programmers do you have, Demarco?!
CountFrylock Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 the sad thing is i believe there aren't enough hardcore toonami fans counted on the nielsen ratings to make much of a dent if they decide to skip this episode and go to the next one anyways it's unlikely Aniplex would let them air it again for free(error or not cause they take any chance to squeeze extra money out of people)
The1gairon Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 SO fuck it are you telling me I'm gonna have to actively go and search for SAO III episode 7 online!?!? FOR SAO??? REALLY??
PokeNirvash Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Really? You're really trusting the guy with the BBW Splatoon icon? You show know better than that, Elfie. 2
The1gairon Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 (edited) Well you may be sad to know that I went against my better judgment and actually watched the sub of this ep just now. ... to prepare any of you if you want to do the same, this is 100% exposition, so you may not follow some of what happens in the rest of the season if you didn't see this episode.  Specifically, it delves into what Underworld is doing, why they are doing it, the origin of the virtual world Kirito is in, the origin of Alice (and by extention where the term Alicization comes from), and Rinko's role during the events of the first SAO season. The voice that they hear on the big screen is a copy of Toga's own consciousness talking back at him, who then tries to prove his legitimacy by reciting the number pi, which makes him overload and self-destruct. That is by far the creepiest moment in the episode. Kirito's personal nurse is revealed to be non other than the same character who tended to him in season one! Edited March 17, 2019 by elfie 1
