    Black Clover Page 100 Discussion Last time on Black Clover, Mereoleona was set to take on four of the elf-possessed Magic Knights along with Rhya, but found herself overwhelmed. Just before she could be hit by a combined attack, Asta and Zora burst back into the room, combining their abilities to reflect the attack back at the elves and save Mereoleona. Unfortunately, Rhya at least was able to survive and managed to capture Asta, but Asta escaped, into the same room where Mimosa was cornered and trapped against all of her comrades who had been possessed by the elves.     Black Clover Page 91 Discussion Last time on Black Clover, we learned there was another Black Bulls member. A sickly man named Henry who lives in far-flung rooms of the hideout. He cant be too close to the others, except for Asta, because he will suck up too much of their magic. He is the on responsible for it constantly changing shape like the stairs in Hogwarts Castle! He utilized this ability to its full extent when he turned the Black Bulls' base into a giant bull golem, with drill punch and rocket punch attacks! Gauche used his mirror magic to clone Grey, who used her transformation magic to transform the slimey salamander (actually an axolotl) into plants, and then Gordon used his poison to destroy it! Unfortunately, the three Midnight Sun members managed to escape, and stole the Magic Stone that was at the Black Bulls' hideout. It was placed on the tablet by Licht, who is apparently all better finally! See if the Midnight Sun can potentially be headed off from victory tonight, on Black Clover, on Toonami!

    Black Clover Page 89 Discussion Last time on Black Clover, the Royal Knights prepared for their invasion of the Midnight Sun's base. A spy tried and did not succeed to gain any information, as he had to flee away from Asta and his group, and when he tried to spy on Mereoleona, was summarily caught! Not much of a plan for the invasion - just teams of four attacking from any entrance and clearing the building! The fighting has already begun inside the Midnight Sun's base.     Black Clover Page 90 Discussion Last time on Black Clover, we unexpectedly cut away from the action at The Midnight Sun's base. In what surely felt like filler turned out to be anything but!     Black Clover Page 87 Discussion Last time on Black Clover, Yami finished telling his tale of his past with Captain Vangeance. After completing a mission where they defeated two Magic Knight traitors that were working with bandits, including the bandit leader Yami had faced before, the two were promoted to Captains and allowed to form their own squads. With Asta still in a stupor even after hearing the story, Yami spouted some shonen cliches, which snapped Asta out of his funk. Just as the Black Bulls were about to leave to find out the results of the Royal Knight selection, someone came knocking at the door! Mereoleona! Just what does her arrival portend?     Black Clover Page 86 Discussion Last time on Black Clover, in a hot springs episode with surprisingly little fan service, Yami told the story of his first meeting with Captain William Vangeance, where One Man Seven Samurai Yami was assisted by Vangeance in getting rid of some bandits that were giving farmers a hard time. The two hit it off and decided to both try to become captains. Hopefully tonight, on Black Clover, on Toonami, we will learn why it was necessary to flash back to this and suddenly focus on Vangeance now.

    Black Clover Page 85 Discussion Last time on Black Clover, the Royal Knight Selection Tournament came to a close. Rill and Yuno faced off head to head, while their teammates fought each other separately. Yuno went right to Rill and his crystal. Yuno used an ability to merge with Bell and use her energy for a transformation/super-form of sorts. In his zeal to fight against Yuno, Rill didn't notice that he released too much energy too close to his crystal and ended up destroying it. Yuno's team ended up winning. But, afterwards, the Wizard King even team members that lost would be considered for Royal Knight positions. Langris will be investigated after he is healed. The Wizard King revealed he knew and fought alongside Zora's father, Zara, and extended an invitation to join the Magic Knights, but Zora seemingly turned it down.     Black Clover Page 84 Discussion Last time on Black Clover, in an astonishing turn of events, the battle between Asta and Langris' teams ended in a draw! Langris continued with his assholery and delusions of grandeur, but Asta put him in his place, both verbally and physically, using Dark Asta and Black Meteorite. But somehow Langris managed to get off some spatial blasts that that took out Asta's crystal at the same time Asta pushed Langris into his own crystal and cut it in half. Later, Yuno took out some randos without even breaking a sweat, not using Bell's power, and many of the other Magic Knights completely missed what he did! The tournament is already nearing its end as Yuno's team face's Rills. Who will win? Find out tonight, on Black Clover, on Toonami!

    Black Clover Page 81 Discussion Last time on Black Clover, we learned more about the past of Finral and Langris. Langris was the prodigal son and much preferred by the parents, for what a high achiever he was, where Finral was largely rejected and insulted by his parents. But, other people saw Finral for being a good person, and how awful Langris was. Langris arguably took things tougher than Finral, which we didn't know before. Perhaps there is some insecurity being projected behind that smugness. When it came time to battle, the Black Bulls were psyched up with the hope that Finral had a good change to win, and he even broke out some new moves, but Langris had some new moves of his own, which were too much for Finral to counter. Unfortunately, Langris took things too far, and seriously wounded Finral. But before he could take it any further, the Black Bulls rushed to Finral's defense, stopping Langris in his tracks.
