I hope to get one before the year is over with

If you don't have any for the SNES Classic already, make sure to get a controller cord extender. The NES Classic controller cord is way short without, about a foot shorter than the SNES one. Two pack of them is only 8-10 bucks.

Still playing through Bravely Second and 14 hours in now. Already lined up my next 3 main games though. First I bought a Nintendo Selects copy of Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I'm pretty excited to start it as from what I've heard it's a hundreds of hours long game potentially, and I've never played any Animal Crossing game before. I almost wanna put Bravely Second on hold for it, but I'll wait and finish it first. My other 2 main games I actually got off the eShop and dowloaded on my 3DS itself, which usually I avoid doing for games with physical releases available. Atlus is currently having a pretty good sale on many of their games so I picked up Stella Glow and Etrian Mystery Dungeon. Psyched to finally have a new FF Tactics-esque game at my disposal, and I'm a big fan of the Etrian series in general. I was actually gonna get The Legend of Legacy too for one last massive RPG, but I realized it wouldn't have fit on my SD card so I held off. Still, these 4 games should see me through the rest of the year pretty nicely. Plus I got Pushmo and Donkey Kong Country 2 via VC to fill in the little gaps in between when I just want to play for a few minutes here and there.

Sunset Riders

I use to play that on Genesis none stop

The cool thing is we have a retro bar here that has a ton of old arcade games and they recently added the Sunset Riders machine, my brother and I each spent about $4.00 in quarters on it

meh, Animal Crossing kept me entertained for about 2 weeks and now my town has been abandoned so long it probably has converted into a jungle and all the buildings have been eaten by nature

Didn't think Etrian Mystery Dungeon was as good as other Etrian titles or roguelite dungeon crawlers(like Shiren and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon) but you'll probably get enough out of it for 15 bucks.

Hope you aren't expecting FFT-esque customization out of Stella Glow. It seems much lighter on the actual strategy from what I played(about 6-8 hours).  It also has a lot of cliche anime tropes but you could probably tell that just by the screenshots. I still think it seems pretty decent though. I've held off on getting back to it because from what I hear you need two playthroughs to see a lot of the content.

I've never played any mystery dungeon games, but the gameplay of it I watched looked interesting. I've also watched gameplay before buying Stella Glow and what I saw of the FFT-esque map stuff looked good enough for me. Not that I've played too many games like that anyway. As for cliche anime tropes, you're talking to Buu! I live for cliche anime tropes! xD Either way when I get around to playing all 3 of these games other people have now told me aren't very good(which thanks btw guys xD), I'll be sure to give my thoughts here. As I said though it'll probably still be awhile as I'm only 16 hours into Bravely Second. Bravely Default took me well over 60 hours to beat.

Have fun with Animal Crossing once you start playing.  It's very addictive.

None of the stuff I said meant Stella Glow is bad, I like it. And it has some things I like that FFT doesn't have like the social link-like interactions during free time and the song magic system. Party members will likely be much more developed than FFT since they seem to get a lot more speaking lines already.

I really need to pick up Bravely Default, pretty sure I'd like it.

Picked up an NES Classic today. You would think that Nintendo would've fixed the issues plaguing the console when it was first released :|

However gripes aside I can't wait to hack this bad boy:D

If they made that much effort they probably would've tried to make it harder to hack also, so I won't complain. What with them going after ROM-hosting sites and suing them now.

Good thing I got the SNES games before they got taken down, but anyway I was playing Kirby's Adventure, the game I wanted to play the most on the system and Zelda II for that matter

They will never be down completely, just slightly harder to find lol.

I had a French version of Kirby's Adventure growing up for some reason.

Well getting ROM's just got a lot harder as Emuparadise just pulled their entire game library.

Lots of Genesis/Sega CD this week:
Cadash
Final Fight
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (first time, it played well but felt half baked)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist
Wiz n' Liz

And on Xbox:
Cuphead
Halo: Combat Evolved
(on my bro's, I don't have an X1)

The Legend of the Mystical Ninja

I need to get back to this and beat it solo. Some of the levels were not ideal for co-op.

I wish the other Goemon games were in english(besides Mystical Ninja/Goemon's Great Adventure), although they are still playable. Just beat Ganbare Goemon 2 pretty recently.
