Ric
Hmm I think it may have been Turtles in Time or Super Mario World. Don't remember for sure. Edited November 29, 2017 by Ric

GuyBeardmane
Without Game Genie or my sister, the first game I can remember beating on my own was Chrono Trigger. But with the Game Genie or my sister beating it, goes back to Super Mario Bros.

But I didn't beat either of those until the NES was long dead.

But I was just terrible at video games, lol. Edited December 5, 2017 by Doom Metal Alchemist
GunStarHero
We had an NES but by the time I was old enough to play games all on my own and not just slobber on the controller the SNES had come out. I used to drag the Zapper around the house and spam the trigger cause I liked the noise it made. PKING! PKING!
molarbear
We got a Nintendo when I was preschool and I tried and tried to beat any game on that system but always failed, they were too unforgiving for my age. When I was in Kindergarten I got a Sega Genesis and (using the up, down, left, right, a, b, select code) skipped to the final level and beat it. As for the NES I honestly don't remember beating a game from it until around 2006 when I beat Super Mario Bros 3, before that, the closest I got was getting to the final 3 stages of Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers and always running out of lives near the end. Yeah I had the NES at preschool age too. That's probably why it took me so long to beat any games on it.
