  1. I never saw that.
  2. Yeah, those exchanges were definitely odd. I wouldn't want that dude showing up at my doorstep, though.
  3. I don't think they were. SergE has this habit of insinuating himself into girls' lives when he posts, and FFly has never been the kind to openly slap down people. Like I said, he was trying some of the same shit on PTA while the boards were "on break" and we all moved to Discord for awhile.
  4. He tried the same thing to PTA, though. The dude was definitely creeping.
  5. Everyone is hiding from that dude.
  6. I thought you were joking, bro.
  7. Competition in the top five.
  8. Tongue in cheek. In general, though, Popeyes traditionally was in places that are food deserts. At some point in the past five years, they've streamlined their operations; before that, they tended to go into neighborhoods that didn't have a steady representation from other fast food outlets.
  9. Ghosty can definitely steal this comely lass away from Nabs.
  10. I'm not sure that would ever qualify as a joke, but it cratered as social commentary as well, so there's that.
  11. But we never found out what the Academic Triathlon was.....
  12. Looking good, lady killer.
  13. Popeyes is gangsta here in Cali - unlike other places, you're not likely to see a Popeyes outside of the 'hood.
  14. Latin honors look great on your diploma, but no one ever really notices.
  15. Your closet is a mess.
  16. In college, you don't get bonuses for getting straight As, so I predict you will pass comfortably.
  17. Did your ex-friend die in the wreck?
  18. I don't know any dogs that can reach sinks. Otherwise, they definitely would shit in a sink if they could.
  19. I'd pith all over the Red Sox. Seriously, fuck those guys.
  20. It's hard to blame the guy for leaking something that earth-shattering, especially when it was just a few hours from the announcement. Luck had been talking with the organization for at least a couple of weeks before going official, so it's not like he wasn't prepared for the ensuing backlash, and that's the most important thing to factor when releasing something that sensitive. Really, I think the fans were just hurt because they felt blindsided. Disappointment is certainly a factor in all of this, but Indy's fans aren't known for being particularly ruthless, and, given all the information, they would understand. It's not at all unlike reacting in anger when finding out about the surprised death of a relative: for Luck to quit that unexpectedly and that young, it had to have been a serious health issue, and football fans all know how dire the consequences paid by players of their favorite sport.
  21. Playing the DA, I would like to think that they booed more as an instantaneous reaction to the announcement and not out of a truly selfish disgust at thinking Luck simply flaked on them. It's not like Luck could have handled this any other way since he is at the mercy of a body that wouldn't allow him to continue; it's just that the abrubtness of it can be shocking and confusing to people who had no idea what Andrew was going through. That being said, the fans still owe Luck an apology at the least, and, preferably, a larger outpouring of support for him and for all football players that are going through this.
  22. No, I think I'd rather continue working with my brain function fully intact and my limbs all responding to my directions. Whether or not he's exaggerating about having been pain free only 2 in 42 months, the thought of spending years in pain like that is unimaginable and it only bodes for a grim retirement.
  23. So Viper, has anyone bit on your "hot takes" yet?
  24. What's with all the one-word responses?
