  1. By the way, a quote from a LA Times article on Kirk’s martyrdom encapsulates this perfectly: “He listened without hearing.” It means he would take the words of his opponents and twist them to his own purposes.
  2. I doubt it’s completely true. Kirk was frequently espousing some form of ethnic superiority, so the possibility he ran afoul of established white supremecist organizations is highly suspect.
  3. I'm starting to see a few op-eds where the writer is disingenuously extolling Charlie Kirk's willingness to go to people and have them confront him. The message, of course, is that he was putting himself out there and the left wasn't engaging him honestly. Charlie Kirk was not engaging in dialog. He was doing what loudmouths do - he was going to universities, setting up shop in the middle of the school's quad, and challenging whoever would pick up the mike to speak to justify themselves to him. The videos are all out there for people to see: that isn't having a dialog, it's debate by combat and there is direct correlation between that style of debate and unjustified violence. Charlie Kirk was not a hero, not even to his fellow conservatives. He was an opportunist who was using his activism as a means to build a business and raise his profile and at the expense of creating a meaningful exchange on the issues that mattered to people.
  4. Looks like someone needs an extended vacation at the old people's home. His brain is so full of holes he can't even perform the simplest of tasks.
  5. What's so surprising is how inept it is. Both of Trump's administrations are remarkable for the sheer comical ineffectiveness of them, but this stands out because it should be easy for him to interfere and get away with it... and he's finding novel ways to screw even that up.
  6. Sounds like they want Adams to put a hit on Sliwa.
  7. He’s not really cut out for the job.
  8. Nothing, we’re good my man.
  9. It’s really easier to get the fix in when your FBI director doesn’t have to interrupt his roid fueled squats to tweet like he’s working. Of course it’s debatable Trump remembers the plan a minute after he thinks it up.
  10. Besides Who Framed Roger Rabbit? of course.
  11. If it means a bunch of stupid blonde Russian bimbos fighting over the Ghosty Salami, then I say let Ghosty the Conqueror step forth to defend all that is good in this world.
  12. I mean they are certainly incompetent enough to accidentally kill a fire fighter in the process so, yeah...
  13. It's actually kind of fun being a conspiracy theorist in Trump's America. Thanks for letting me play.
  14. That's how you know it's Army.
  15. He's a hateful dick all right. He's a radicalized Christian.
  16. Just out of curiosity, are we 4-Imprint certain that Trump didn't have an Army sniper take out Kirk for expedience? It's not like he needed the youth vote any more and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get on screen and vilify every non-white subhuman in existence for hating him Massive Neck-Wound Charlie, the paragon of white virtue. Also, what Epstein files?
  17. You're right, but even so, those people are intentionally turning a blind eye to a direct cause.
  18. People who saying the are trying to humanize someone who's dehumanizing others.
  19. Yeah, I'm not convinced of the credibly of this article either. He's claiming that scientists complete forgot or ignored some of the most basic laws of thermodynamics to prop up a straw man. I'm not aware of any time when CO2 was the sole cause of global climate change, and I'm certainly not aware of any suggestion that heat absorption is consistent and universal.
  20. Honestly, I get why prominent Democrats are expressing disgust about the assassination. It's not so much that they feel Kirk didn't earn that bullet, as much as a practical understanding that, as high profile figures in a hyper-polarized society, they can just as easily be taken out by a partisan vigilante for reasons that are far less rational than the ones used to eliminate Kirk and his hate speech.
  21. Despite not being particularly attuned to his "influence" on social media, I've been acutely aware of him from at least the end of Trump's first presidency. If you might not necessarily know his face, you most certainly would have encountered him if you lived near a college campus. More recently, his organizations conferences have provided a high profile alternative in conservative politics to the usual suspects, attended by the GOP heavyweights including Dreaming Don himself.
  22. One of the most fascinating subsegments of pre-wartime animation is the ones that used golden age movie stars and celebrities as characters. It's a uniquely American form of lampoon that blends the plastic buffoonery of animated (and often anthropomorphic) characters with recognizable faces. It's very much like the political cartoons that blossomed a century earlier in motion form, but with the unique element of a distinctly sanitized representations of personal idiosyncrasies.
  23. Happy Birthday, Stillz.
  24. I really hate that a dude that looks like a face painted on a balloon is getting this much attention.
