My first thought is that I didn't even think I got this channel, but apparently it's way the hell up amongst the 3 or 4 duplicates of each channel that Xfinity has on the lineup for whatever reason. My second thought is that I don't see this lasting for any particular length of time, and I also highly doubt that them broadcasting MHA episodes that Toonami aired all the way back in 2018 will have any effect on whether or not they air the next season.

If you can somehow take the raging douchenozzle out of the picture, SpaceX's reusable technology has led to massive cuts to the cost of getting payloads to orbit. Their iterative design process of launching stuff even if it's not entirely ready, seeing what breaks, and fixing it is something that NASA and traditional aerospace companies by their nature could never do, and was probably a sorely-needed disruption ot the industry. And while I think Starship is maybe the dumbest fucking looking rocket ever (seriously, it's a giant space dildo), if it does what it has the potential to do, then it'll be an equal game-changer in terms of heavy lift capacity. Honestly I used to be a huge fan of what they were doing, before said douchenozzle started to let his Nazi flag fly.

The thing is, even if we magically stopped all CO2 emissions tomorrow, it would still take hundreds of years for what's already in the atmosphere to return to pre-industrial levels. Even if you want to put a pin in a certain spot and say "let's at least get levels to where they were in the 1950s," you're still talking decades. Any comprehensive solution to climate change needs to involve both severe restrictions on new emissions going into the atmosphere, and some sort of geoengineering projects to remove what's already there.

There is no season 2 of Lycoris. There was something like a one-off shorts project announced, but it's not a full season.

I know nothing about it other than the few promo clips I've seen and didn't even remember that Judge was involved with it, but it definitely has a unique look if nothing else.

I've probably said this a half-dozen times before, but it's incredible to me how most of the main characters in this series are introduced as completely fucking awful people. I legit can't think of another shounen where the people I'm supposed to be cheering for are this unlikeable from the start. Those Shippuden filler episodes when they jump back to pre-genin times and show the characters paling around crack me up because, no, they clearly hated each other's guts back then. Hell, even this first OP is a lie, there's no point in the entire series when Squad 7 all act that nice towards each other.

I get the echo chamber thing and that you like having toys to play with, but I look at it like this. If you're going to have a folder dedicated to political discussion, then there has to be some base standard there. Like, I don't think "don't knowingly and repeatedly post objective falsehoods" is a huge hurdle, but MD can't even clear that anymore. I'm all for being able to have reasonable discussions with people I disagree with, and at one time we could do that with MD, but at some point she decided for whatever reason to go full Jingo. There's no value in trying to talk with her anymore because she refuses to engage in good faith. I don't know, does this forum software support locking people out of specific folders? Because that's how we do things in another community where I'm a moderator. Our political folder is opt-in, and if someone proves that they can't play nice, they're blocked from accessing it. We even did it in a broader sense to game modders who constantly acted like absolute shitbags; they got limited to their one project folder and nothing else so the rest of us wouldn't have to keep stepping in their shit everywhere.
