A lot of my power came from speed, it's why I loved football. In seven yard spurts I was explosive. I never worked out to not be knocked over, I worked out to be too fast to stop.

I remember how much I weighed when I was muscular. Like a college football player, 6' , 190. Probably not a star but a solid linebacker.

I have to gain to be at what I consider a healthy 190. Fuck metabolism and 25 pounds. As much as people are like, "I love food," imagine shoving a barrel of spaghetti in your mouth to keep from losing weight. I noticed myself getting fat from peanuts a while back, so maybe I should eat a lot of them when I work out. I should look up strategies for that, I suppose.

I nailed that game with justice broad, same way I first nailed Soul Calibur with Xianghua. They put Ryu in every fighting game. Until I developed Taki skills Xianghua felt like cheating. Not as much as Kilik, but being able to continuously string combos at good range was unfulfilling. I like to get right in the muck of it.

That stupid BlazBlue game had a big slow fighter with a single frame punch that interrupted almost any combo. He was another I had to restructure my style for. Depending on what Armor King's counters are like would alter my play. But typically I go for chip damage like a chainsaw.

I told Boo that people who know how to use slow characters are the worst people in the world. The best example for me is to imagine Taki unload with an unending stream of attack. That's how I like to fight.

Swimming is probably actually best for you. If I remember right a lot of people recovering from injuries and that sort of thing use swimming to strengthen injured muscles. Super low-impact and you can get a really good full-body workout.

It's still a little warm here but I think the humidity is over. It's hot and humid for two to three weeks of the year here. My first year here was the worst. Went to the beach to cool off one night and it did nothing. Just swamp and muck everywhere. So how about that local sports team, huh? Quite a game of sportsball.

There are huge swaths of humanity that are very difficult to understand.

If the first 30 is stretching and core exercises it's fine. Shouldn't even take that long. Aside from during cardio take short rests as needed. The timed break isn't necessary. Catch your breath and get back to it. Six days a week, alternate arms and legs for weight training. Don't eat garbage and you should have visible results within a month.
