  1. In the next decade, there’ll probably be at least one movie about it. Either a comedy about someone cheating on their SO while they’re quarantining or a dramatic film where an old actor is dying from COVID in a Florida retirement home for an Oscar. More likely, I can expect a skinny pale actor trying to get an Oscar nod for putting on the prosthetics and clown makeup to play Donald Trump in a film about the pandemic.

  3. I have ideas for original stories, but while I suffer from writer’s block on the outlines for those, I’m writing fan fiction instead. I’m already a couple chapters in, but when you have pre-existing characters, I guess it all comes naturally. It’s good practice, but I also just want to write smut. Does anyone else do this?
  4. Kakegurui Little Witch Academia A Whisker Away Violet Evergarden Devilman Crybaby Neo Yokio
  5. I was gonna be mean about this, but there are some really good titles that are leaving. Humanity Has Declined, SHIROBAKO, tsuritama, Un-Go. With so many missing titles and the fact that they keep missing out on valuable seasonal acquisitions, CR doesn’t feel as valuable as it used to.
  6. In the hierarchy of least favorite music, I’d have to give it to The Beach Boys. I’ve only associated their music with whiny assholes singing about wanting jailbait on the beach. The Smile and Pet Sounds eras infuriate me because for this short window of time, their music was actually beautiful. And then they went back to making yacht rock about wanting jailbait on the beach, except now they’re just whiny OLD assholes. If we’re talking about pure hatred though, that feeling is reserved for Maroon 5, the worst band in existence.
  7. I forget that Harry Potter was actually a mid-1990’s period piece. All those wizards were dropping like flies back when Britpop and The Cranberries were everywhere.
  8. If it’s true to the game, this’ll be the easy cheap anime to make. Just draw three green dots tossing around a black background, edit in some choking sounds and Michael Ironside growing at everyone, and you got yourself a Splinter Cell anime.
  9. If it helps, the beginning of Man of the Year is from this song: To its credit, it’s an amazing song too.
  10. I don’t think I can find a situation where it doesn’t sound like a petty dig. “Great to hear,” would make more sense for me to say if I’m not trying to take a shot at someone.
  11. Imagine graduating high school as part of the Class of 2020 and Class of 2021.
  12. It’s hard to gauge. There’s afterfap sleeping, afterfap napping, and afterfap waking up.
  13. I’m not a fan. It feels like staring into a void looking at pictures of lifeless bodies. It’s this memento mori kind of reminder that we’re all just husks, and I have to be in a certain mood to examine that idea and be like “yeah, that doesn’t make me feel depressed and put me into a nihilistic existential crisis about being born to fade.”
  14. Did your mind try to make a freestyle out of it? And if so, was it in the Versace flow or a different rhyming scheme?
  15. “Hey, asshole,” is more commonplace where I’m at than “Howdy.”
  16. The article is all about Kodansha, so that explains it. Viz doesn’t need to find the next great manga because they have all of the most recent hits at their disposal. Here’s to seeing if they can grab the next Demon Slayer, Kaguya-sama, My Hero Academia, One Punch Man, Dr. Stone, Promised Neverland, Haikyuu, or Black Clover.
  17. If you’re the type of person that goes into the comment section of a news article on a new musician or actor to say “Who is this?” or “I don’t know/care who that is?” to look cool and out of touch with mainstream media, then your opinion is worthless. You have the internet, look it the fuck up. Or just let it slide. You sure as shit aren’t commenting about world affairs or baseball stats. Why participate in one about a musician you don’t even listen to? Same if you go into a news article on a musician or public figure to make a boomer joke about their stage name or given name. If your joke had the same framework as Clayton Bigsby’s Condoleeza Rice rant, then the internet should be forbidden for you. If you make the combination of the two comments above, then your eligibility to take part in society should be questioned.
  18. Seagulls are oddly one of my favorite birds since they have a pretty good life of staying by the beach and eating fish and picnic food. It makes sense that Wingulls are also fun and cultured friends to have around. Every Wingull I have goes by the name Flocka.
  19. Whaddaya mean booze ain’t food!?
  20. About halfway through the game. There are a few changes here and there that are nice so far like changing up some of the puzzles and boss fights. The darts mini game is pretty engaging too and I’ve spent too much time playing Tycoon in the Lounge. I’m starting to realize that some the differences I’m coming across are surfacing only because I’m coming into this game far differently than I did 3 years ago. The story in the Kamoshida arc felt a lot more revolting, especially with his boss battle changes. But with Madarame and Kaneshiro, the cartoony behavior their shadows exhibit really took me out of it this time around. My romance choice was another dramatic change because I ended up liking Ann the most. Futaba was my favorite back in 2017 followed by Makoto. I also stuck by the “everyone is best girl” argument because there was never a bad choice in P5. But this time around, I’m far more interested in Ann‘s character and really came to fall for her.
  21. I’d heard about the episode being sad, but I wasn’t ready for it.
  22. The contemporary Puritan lifestyle is less of an honest way of living and more of an excuse to get rid of people you don’t like.
  23. I haven’t used Twitch, but I still need to watch Kyle McCarley’s LP of Fire Emblem Echoes.
