  1. DanMachi, Re:Zero, and Konosuba were pretty good. Not sure if Outbreak Company counts, but I enjoyed that one. People were fans of Log Horizon
  2. Because most of the top ones were already listed, there's: Ichi the Killer Happiness The Act of Seeing with One's Own Eyes
  3. I watched the movie some time ago. It felt like it could’ve been a decent enough standalone film if they didn’t push Renji and Byakuya in so soon. Not just because they look Iooked like cheesy cosplayers in the realisic backdrop of the film’s Karakura Town, but it forces the film to try to rush Ichigo into fighting other soul reapers when he’s barely equipped to fight hollows. His training was laughably terrible and he comes off as completely incompetent in the whole hollow-fighting business when that was his entire responsibility after he took Rukia’s powers. By the time he fought Renji in the original, he was already plowing through hollows, which is why it seemed like an insane power gap for Ichigo to get bodied by Renji. In the movie, his skills are so shit that he would’ve had a hard time against him regardless because he was only strong enough to beat two hollows by the end of the film. As for Orihime, she did fade off into the distance because the plot would only allow her to be jealous and jilted over Ichigo training with Rukia. Tatsuki trying to make Orihime even more jealous with rumors and gossip she heard was also strange, but the only friend who served a purpose in the film was Chad blocking debris near the end. It seems like Orihime was there merely to amplify the bond Ichigo and Rukia have by drawing attention to it. Like a device to prop up the film’s pairing of choice.
  4. I remember it being decent, but I was very young. At that point, I can only remember snapshots of what happened then, like memories of songs I’ve heard, movies I’ve seen, games I’ve played, and places I’ve been.
  5. This is Naruto’s default face from Ninja Storm 4’s Adventure Mode.

  7. Because I’m highly predictable, it’s the sleeveless outfit that’s the best part of Bowsette.
  8. Planes, Trains, and Automobiles?
  9. I too yearn for a time when I could wear a tin foil jumpsuit, have a ramen haircut, and be considered to be the coolest guy around.
  10. I can go for candy corn, but I draw the line with the candy pumpkin variation. It’s way too much to chew through.
  11. Everything’s good. I just started a new job last month so I’ve been having to get the hang of it, especially since it’s far less lenient and way smaller than anywhere else I’ve worked for.
  12. It was during the height of my weebiness, though it’s hard to gauge whether Bleach or Code Geass made me a worse person at the time. If time travel was a possibility and meeting yourself didn’t cause time paradoxes, I’d rather meet the me during my Bleach phase than the me during my Geass phase.
  13. Random first episodes of shows on Netflix like Inuyasha, Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin, Naruto, and Samurai Champloo. I did go through a couple episodes of Ghost in the Shell, Sailor Moon, and GTO recently. I also have a lot of 80’s anime on my “Plan to Watch” list like City Hunter and older Rumiko Takahashi shows. Haven’t been able to commit to watching through an older series lately though with how busy I’ve gotten.
  14. By that point, Toonami was that one block I had to trudge through before Adult Swim came on if I ended up tuning in too early. It was often 4Piece and Bo-Bo-Bo waiting at the finish line before I could watch Bleach or Blood +. It was sad to see Tom do the Spike Spiegal line, but by then, it was a shell of its former self and I wasn’t hurt that they had to end it by then.
  15. At first I was excited, but a couple things bother me about it. The controller isn't a dual shock, so it not only makes some games a real pain to play, but also rules out Ape Escape. There's also the case of it only being 20 games and the highlights being just the three they announced. FFVII and Tekken 3 are amazing and it'd be great to play the latter on an actual console again instead of arcade ports, but if they don't have the rights to actual "genre defining" PS1 classics, they might end up loading it with a ton of shovelware.
  16. Since I just got DBFZ, it’d either be Spider-Man or Persona 5 Dancing. Maybe Fate/Extella Link when it’s cheap. Kingdom Hearts 3 would be day one, but I’ll get more games by that point. I’m in the market for a Switch so the first two game I’d try to get would be BotW and Smash Ultimate.
  17. I haven’t seen her been mentioned since the I Feel Pretty movie, and that came about with far less fanfare than her other work
  18. I remember there was a store in the mall in the late 90’s that sold exclusively anime merchandise from DBZ, Sailor Moon, and Pokémon. There were plenty of kiosks, but I’m talking a full store. Within a year or two, I believe it was replaced by a Limited Too
  19. Perhaps the red tide was brought up to kill the fish so that only humans will be able to develop on coastal waters
