From the Gamespot article: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/resident-evil-2-1-shot-demo-is-out-now/1100-6464323/ "You'll have to be careful not to burn too much time taking in the utterly gross sights and sounds, though, because it only lasts 30 minutes and then you can't play anymore." "The demo takes you through a snippet of gameplay as Leon S. Kennedy, and if you finish quickly enough you can go through it again. If you fail, you can keep trying until your half-hour is up." "Finishing the demo will give you an exclusive new cinematic trailer. You can then watch the trailer as much as you'd like even if time has expired, but the demo will be off-limits. The demo will be available through January 31." It's like the 3DS demos where they only let you play it for a limited number of times or a restrictive beta.

Never checked to see if GTA Online had hookers
-
I remember seeing it in coolers and vending machines, but I don't think I ever got around to trying one. I'd gravitate towards Surge or Gatorade Frost.
-
I'm a little discouraged to play it because it's a one-shot demo and I need to wait for the right moment to play through it all before it vaporizes into the aether.

Oda is claiming One Piece to end around Volume 100
Chapinator_X replied to Jman's topic in Anime & Manga
I'm more convinced that Oda is going to continue keeping the train rolling for as long as he wants because he has that level of freedom. Go with the plan Tite Kubo originally wanted, except actually have the clout to do it without getting the series yanked. -

Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel her thighs… and her butt… even her feet. The dreams I’ve woke from… The sensations I’ve lost… won’t stop hurting… It’s like they’re all still there. -
Of course it’d underperform against college football because it’s college football! Or a UFC/boxing match. The average person would rather watch an actual fight night than a random episode of Dragon Ball Z. It’s not a mystery why a niche genre would gather niche numbers. Or why Toonami hashtags aren’t a worldwide phenomena on Saturday nights.

Watched it early yesterday and it was pretty solid. The POV of his cat was very cute. The only strange thing was when they just glanced over the fact that he was one of the only surviving members of his litter and saw some of his relatives dead.

I know this feeling -
Two recent cheeses I've had that are mind-blowing are on the sweeter side. One is a Lemon Baked Ricotta and another is a White Stilton with Ginger and Mango Pieces. They're great on their own, but are amazing on ginger snaps.

Goblin Slayer was only a couple months apart too. That was the same time it took to go from lewding blood cells to lewding Bowser. It's hard to gauge how 2019 will turn out when 2018 was just a week ago. But as for the controversy, it seems like it's just ANN's crusade. Everyone else is either going to ignore Shield Hero or have terminal shit taste and swallow it up because they enjoyed Isekai no Smart Phone or SAO. Sure, it's a testament to how bad anime has been recently at being able to handle the subject of rape without treating it like its window-dressing to place larger stakes on the cast, but ANN is the same site that tried to manufacture a controversy on Bunny Girl Sempai being canceled because Sakuta asks his friend's abrasive girlfriend if it's her time-of-the-month. They just struck gold with Goblin Slayer because Crunchyroll got in hot water for accidentally labeling it as teen-friendly when the first episode has brutal dismemberment and graphic rape. And to be honest, Goblin Slayer's worries went away as the series went on and it became a much mellower series. Not that the beginning's rape didn't feel exploitative, but it was far more sobering to see that they didn't end up going overboard on the edge or cater to people who only wanted to watch it for the rape. People bitched about it getting slice-of-life episodes, but it was actually nice to know GS wasn't going to bend over to make everything edge, edge, edge. If it were written by the braindead fans, they would've wanted every episode to have a reference to rape or to have GS sass the girls by mentioning rape, but the series knew better to have some restraint and create a dark yet engaging experience in how the other characters interact with GS

I thought when people brought up "controversy" it was going to be like Goblin Slayer's full-on rape scene, but now I'm reading their reviews and a false rape accusation is what sets everyone to give the joke review scores. Funny how I think Sister Krone's character design in Promised Neverland might smooth over far more easily than the fact that a false rape accusation helps to try to justify the Shield Hero's self-victimization for being unfairly treated as a weak guy for using a shield. Shield Hero looks fucking boring and the fact that this is the controversy doesn't make me want to check it out like with Goblin Slayer, but ANN has a history of overblown outrage. Like when they said Stella Women's Academy promoted school shootings because it was about an airsoft club, or that Toriko was hard to watch solely because they just watched The Cove and learned about the whaling industry. I'm sure there's more, but they are notorious for picking one small detail and basing their entire review on it.

People all shocked that r.kelly is a child molester on the black web
Chapinator_X replied to fuggstop's topic in Free-For-All
They used to do it alot to Katy Perry where you would have versions of California Gurls and E.T. without Snoop Dogg or Kanye West aired on the radio because rap was a big no-no for the pool party radio stations. I know there's other examples too, but it's something I've encountered whenever I've been stuck listening to those stations. -
It's nice that they have an adventure mode with the spirit mechanics, but I do wish that they were able to implement minor things to do from the older games like Break the Targets, Home Run Contest, or the trophies where you can look at the figures and read a little bio on them. It's not that the game isn't fun or that everything needs to be like the old games, but it does cut down on the replayability to not have things like that or maybe a more comprehensive challenge mode like what Capcom or Arc System Works do for their fighters.

Radio stations are obnoxious. Your standard "I Heart Radio" nonsense will get rid of the rap sections of songs like with TLC or Jay-Z's part in Justin Timberlake's "Suit & Tie", but they will never stop playing "Ignition Remix", and around the same time as "Suit & Tie", R. Kelly's verse on Lady Gaga's "Do What You Want" would be left in for about a year until a version came out with Christina Aguilera swapping him out. But pop radio's deathly allergies to the rap parts on pop songs is nonsense. -
The bosses (save for Ganon) seem pretty easy now that I'm almost wrapped up with the World of Light, but those four stars are irritating. I've been mowing through alot of the older spirits since I finally unlocked everyone, but there are still some challenges that are infuriating. Even busting out other characters I can get cheap with have a tough time against some of these four stars. The Boss from MGS3 particularly pisses me off to no end. Going through World of Light mode before Palutena/Cloud/Robin was rough. I learned the first part of Ashley's Song after playing that challenge for at least a half hour.
