Don't flatter yourself. He's doing the Al Bundy thing.

When I saw those commercials for (I think it was) DirecTV last year about their a la cart thing where you can pick and choose whichever packages you like so "you only pay for what you want," But I'm like, I'd probably want only one channel from each package, and a bunch of different packages, so would I really even save on much? I need my sports channel (NBC Sports Bay Area is the only one I care about), my two cartoon channels (CN west and CN east are the only ones I care about), TBS west, TBS east, and Comedy Central (I guess those would each go in a basic cable package?), a couple of the local channels (they often tend to broadcast the SF Giants games that NBC Sports Bay Area doesn't). Off the top of my head that's probably all I need, which I don't think is much, but I would estimate that to be a total of 4 packages.

I'm not absolutely sure. NES was also my first console, so it was definitely an NES game. But my parents got us multiple games when they first gave it to us. I would have to narrow down my possible first games to Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, or 1943.

You do bring up a good point. I only watch a few channels, and of course cable is usually like $100 a month or more, while netflix is what, like less than $20.00 a month? I definitely get the appeal, but eh.

I just... don't... want to.

I guess I'm like an old ornery grandpa being dragged kicking and screaming into the current age in some ways. I don't watch hulu or netflix or anything, I'm fine with cable. If I were to rely on Internet services like those for my TV watching, I'd have to get a second computer that I could dedicate to nothing but hooking up to my TV so I could use this computer for other shit while I watch TV.

I got you beat. I'm pulling an all nighter because there's no way I can go to bed and finish my homework on time. And I STILL haven't worked on it yet last night or today.

I get the feeling that this thread was made in FFA, and then either pat or a mod saw the thread title but didn't open the thread, and moved it to the share space (wrongly) assuming it was the right place for this thread.

What's your biggest sibling gap

I see no shame in it. Spouses get divorced all the time. In my case, my dad got married, had a couple kids (one of them being my aforementioned brother). Got divorced, and remarried to a woman with no kids (my mom). So they had two kids (one of them being me) -

What's your biggest sibling gap
Doom Metal Alchemist replied to André Toulon's topic in Free-For-All
You asked how old I was WHEN HE CAME TO LIVE WITH US IN COLLEGE. I told you my earliest memories of him he was already living with us. Which basically means "I don't know when he came to live with us or even if he was living with my parents before I was even born." This means not only do I not know how old he was, it means I don't know how old I was either, because I don't know when it even occurred. Also I don't remember when he moved out so I don't don't how old I was when he moved out either. -

I actually don't consider you asking me for clarification trolling me, if that's what you were getting at with the packard comment. I am going to guess at which question was not answered adequately and say I don't remember how old my brother was when he was living with us. I know I had asked when I was little, but I was at that age when if someone told me they were older than 7, I'd be like, "wow, you're OLD!" so I didn't have a good concept of age at that time. Not only do I not remember how old he was when he moved out, I don't remember how old I was when he moved out, and I don't remember what year he moved out, so I can't make that calculation. -

See my above edit, he is indeed my half brother. My earliest memories of him he was already living with us, and a college student. -

lol. I'm kind of curious to know what further questions you have, but I'm doubting my ability to adequately answer them. EDIT: Just in case I was not clear about this and this is one of things you have questions about: I mean he did not live with us long while I was alive, as I was born either late in his teen years or in his early 20s, or whatever. So that doesn't necessarily mean he didn't live with my parents much longer than I personally remember. Its also worth noting that he is my half brother, same father, different mother. So I have no idea how much of his life he lived with his mother, and how much he lived with us. -

My earliest memories of him he was a college student, and although he did live with us, it wasn't for that long. -
Well pop tarts sure as fuck aren't for lunch or dinner.... however, they make for great snacks at whatever time of day or night.

I like Wendy's 4-for-4. Unfortunately there's no wendy's around where I live. But there is a Wendy's right across the street from my college campus, so sometimes I eat dinner there before my night class, so that's cool.

If DVs get set up in DF, I'm ok with that, but I'd rather have it occur organically, I don't want to change my posting/viewing habits to make it happen, mainly because I don't really care either way. But poof was right in that users (at least some of them) will develop an e-peen by getting dv'd into oblivion. The most obvious of these is Zeni. I can't fucking believe people here still give him attention. Literally all he wants is to get shat on. Fucking ignore him. And if dv's get instated anywhere on the board, contributing to his negative rep will be another thing he wants. Also DVs on nodebb led to far more whining from people with thin skin than I've seen whining here. Furthermore, I'm in agreement with Mexo that more extreme separation of DF and FFA would be a bad thing. The current separation we have now works for me. I'm also in agreement with the person who said (I can't remember who) that people who make ok threads in FFA but the threads get moved to DF because of some asshattery due to others in the thread would get punished unfairly. Someone might start off in an innocuous thread in FFA that gets moved to DF because of others asshattery, but still want to contribute to the non-asshattery of the topic now in DF, especially the OP. The poster of a thread shouldn't feel obligated to abandon their thread because some other asshat got it moved to DF.

"Interactive" doesn't seem edgy to me. How about Hyperactive Hymen? Its even got alliteration going for it.
