That's fucked up if he has a complete lack of communication with you than goes off on you for commenting on it. If he is the band leader he has the responsibility of letting the other members know what's going on as for the status of the band's activities. Luckily in my band there's no real lack of communication, and no real band leader either. We have our own drama though. But if someone can't make it or needs a break or whatever, they're always very upfront about it. EDIT: Listened to the 5 tracks in the first link. My favorites were Elizabeth Bathory, mainly because I thought the bells were a really cool touch, and Robinson, because there was cool guitar playing.

I had band practice today, recording our upcoming debut EP. I personally didn't really do anything, as all we did today were recording vocals, as all my guitar parts, all our bass parts, and all our drum parts were already done from previous practice sessions. Now our lead guitarist/audio engineer/producer has to record his guitar parts, and mix and master everything.

Fuck dude, I never learned bass but I used to bust strings all the time. That's what happens when you love full step bend/vibratos on the first two strings! I've never tried 10s, but I absolutely cannot play 9s because the first string just breaks way too easily. I use 11s.
