I love mondays. That's when my "weekend" starts.

Just use anything with a flat surface. Kitchen and coffee tables, mantle and fireplace, kitchen and bathroom counters, on top of the washing machine and dryer if they're not top loaders (or maybe even if they are! ), on top of the toilet tank... Too bad they don't make those old giant CRT TVs anymore because you could use that if you have any... Do you have an old NES around (not a Classic, not a top loader), because that could work... Depending on whether or not you still have cable TV (which a lot of people in our generation don't because they rely on streaming services, but w/e) maybe your cable box has a flat surface you could display gundam models on... Depending on what type of computer you have you could display them on the tower/whatever you would call it...

And roll under the couch.

I didn't play NES Metroid until after I played Super Metroid and I hated it, for the same reason. Super Metroid is phenomenal though. Even Metroid II on Game Boy was good. EDIT: that was one of the main reasons I hated the first Metroid, the other reason is because the gun you start out with has fucking 0 range making it hard to kill even the most basic of enemies.

Nintendo broke my heart by never releasing a Metroid game on N64.

Also, so long to Hunter Pence, who is leaving the Giants. Even though his numbers were quite poor this season, pretty much every other season he's played with the Giants since the trade in 2012 he's been good to great. Apparently he doesn't plan on retiring yet, he wants to make a comeback.
