  1. My mom's family was apparently very close knit, as I spent a LOT of time with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins as a kid (eventually, we moved away from them all, however one branch of the extended family, my mom's twin sister and her husband, and until they grew up, their two kids, still visit us every summer). I'm pretty sure my brother and my one cousin were each other's best friends until we moved away. A couple of those aunt / uncle pairs have vacation homes in the mountains, and even in my 20s it was a regular occurrence for them to invite us to stay there with them for vacation. My dad's family, on the other hand... I spent a lot of time with the grandparents, and virtually no time (or at most, very little time) with everyone else. Although as an adult and one of my half brothers got married and had kids, all of a sudden his mom and step dad became a part of my life, which was brand new at the time. I spent a fair amount of time with my half-brother's kids, but I don't relate to kids very well. I wasn't the one that entertained them, my parents were, and I live here also, and often when they went to McDonald's, they'd invite me along (I was pretty much a shut-in for a while). I have a couple cousins that are so much younger than me, they may as well be my nephews. We've bonded over video games. It seems my aunt and uncle took a while getting them new video game consoles, so when they were really young, they played my uncle's old Super Nintendo, and that's right up my alley.
  2. Happy birthday! Sorry, I don't remember what kind of guitar you play. >_>
  3. Please don't store it on CD's, using CD-R's are completely obsolete as a computer file storage format. May as well store them on floppies. Ooh, or Zip disks.
  4. The only "strats" I know of are guitars. *shrug*
  5. I find it amusing how you have graphical sigs in multiple accounts, but you turned off everyone else's sigs.
  6. I don't remember the specific pic you're referencing, but I remember a loooooooooooong time ago on ASMB you posted a (or perhaps multiple) selfie with long hair.... but it was dyed black, if I recall correctly.
  7. Happy birthday! 🎂🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈
  8. Dammit. Hate to admit, but you got this one.
  9. Is that from an actual SF game or is that fan-made porn? 😮
  10. Come on man, you gotta give me someone from SFII. Also are these like "UEMB member = Street Fighter character" or are these "UEMB member VS Street Fighter Character"?
  11. The one with all the SNES games cycling though the SNES itself. My first thought was, "why are there no Squaresoft games????" Then I noticed there was no SFII either, but then I thought maybe since that's a port of an arcade game, it didn't count. Then I noticed there was no Super Metroid. Then I looked closer, and it looks like it's celebrating games only made by Nintendo themselves and Konami. Castlevania IV's cool and all, but what about everything else great about the system? And that is a poor representation of Nintendo's own greatness on the SNES.... Like I said, no Super Metroid, but also no Super Mario Kart or A Link to the Past... but there IS Mario Paint. What? Mario Paint ain't all that... Mario KART, on the other hand, along with A Link to the Past and Super Metroid, are. And again, no Squaresoft representation is unforgivable. And then let's not forget about the Mega Man X series and the Earthworm Jim series. Explain yourself, Kudasai.
  12. To my knowledge, we don't have any in this state. The only reason I know of its existence is the people of ASMB / UEMB.
  13. That's where my mind went too. Yesterday before I went to bed I was watching the Seinfeld episode where Jerry and George try to get out of relationships by suggesting to their gf's, "I believe it's called a... menage a tois."
  14. Or an erotic thriller.
  15. That seems like a completely random comparison.
  16. Of course it doesn't pay much, they've stated on the show that they don't get paid at all.
  17. That's 1979! I declare shenanigans!
  18. I didn't know there was a Spanish AS until you just old me. >_>
  19. All I understand in that is "limit of the three years of Spanish..."
  20. That means "He / she / it doesn't speak (English)".
