Yeah it was minor for me too in Fresno. It just blows my mind we're actually feeling earthquakes here at all now. I experienced quite a few quakes in my childhood when I lived in the Bay Area (my first one was the big one in 1989, fucking scared the shit out of me). After I moved here in 1995, I didn't feel any more quakes until I briefly moved to Irvine in 2013.

I've never felt any earthquakes here in the first, I wanna say 21 years I lived here, and in the past, maybe 3, I've felt 4. The first two a few years ago were about a week or two a part, then of course the last two were yesterday and today.

For sleeping, have you tried placing the fan right next to your head and pointing it directly at your head? Not your body, just your head. This worked wonders for me when I didn't have central air. To be fair though, where I lived at the time didn't get too hot compared to a lot of other places. But During the height of summer I would always have the comforter and sheet on me and I never got too hot to sleep.
