  1. You mean... either you didn't like it when she kissed you on the lips / cheek / forehead or with tongue, or she just didn't do it at all, for a few years???
  2. I still (exclusively) watch cable TV, and I buy CDs all the time. I'm such a horrible millennial. I do wear a man-bun at work.... but only because all us long-hairs (all genders) have to keep our hair above our shoulders "for safety reasons," and a man-bun is preferable to getting it all chopped off.
  3. You people and your new-fangled (lol) dinosaurs. My favorites as a kid were the T-Rex (cliche, I know), and diplodochus (sp?). I liked the diplodochus because it was the biggest known dinosaur at the time. Or maybe the dino books I started with were outdated even by the time I started with them. I don't know. I do remember hearing about Ultrasaurus and (I think) Megasaurus when I was still young, which were both bigger. I lost my interest in dinos long ago. Jurassic Park and The Lost World are still classics, though.
  4. Jesus Christ... the only things you mentioned in this post that I actually know what they are are pho noodles, hourglass, and sand.
  5. Is weed still illegal in your state? Because I can only imagine illegal weed is much cheaper than legal weed.
  6. Occasionally my eyes get REALLY sensitive to light and I can't keep them open for more than a split second. One time it was weird as hell it was cloudy AND I was wearing a baseball cap but it still hurt to keep my eyes open. It was pretty awkward because a relative of my then new sister in law was talking to me, and I couldn't even look at him when we were talking.
  7. That depends. I'm sure there are scalpers galore on stubhub.
  8. You have 90k to spend on a grill but not 100k to spend on a computer?
  9. I once had a professor who was 29.
  10. Happy birthday!
  11. Being able to do that without the aid of caffeine has got to be a bad sign.
  12. It depends on the Root Beer. A&W and Dad's are caffeine free, I think Mug is caffeine free (I am not sure), but Barq's has some caffeine (less than most caffeinated sodas, though). Most lemon-lime sodas like 7-Up, Sierra Mist, and Sprite are caffeine free too. Mountain Dew Ice, despite being a lemon-lime soda, is still Mountain Dew at heart and is loaded with caffeine. Squirt, which is a lemon-lime soda, is caffeine free, but Squirt Ruby Red (grapefruit flavor added) has about as much caffeine as Barq's root beer.
  13. I was concerned about the sugar, and so will their parents.
  14. That's not how kids' minds operate, lol.
  15. Have you checked with their parents that they are ok with you giving them soda? Soda is not looked at today like it was when you and I were kids, lol.
  16. How do I know that's not just a mama eagle regurgitating food into its chicks' mouths?
  17. ...Did your brain just insert a 'b' where there was none?
  18. That is the greatest name for a (The Eagles) tribute band ever.
  19. The talkbox section sounds like it's improvised, but maybe that's just the live version. I don't know if it's different on the studio version.
  20. Hell yes to board games. I loved Monopoly as a kid.
  21. About the song on the whole, I disagree whole-heartedly. Both the chorus and the talk-box ("talking guitar") are complete dead give-aways that it's Do You Feel Like We Do by Peter Frampton. Until the first chorus though, you might be right.
  22. @Mini_ghost420 Please come back, I want to know what happened with you and that hot deaf girl. I'm hoping the fact the you've spent this much time away means things are going well with her, so you're too busy for us for that reason. I would think the novelty of the PS4 would've waned enough by now if that was the only thing keeping you away from here.
  23. On my way to work last night the battery in my bluetooth speaker ran out, so I listened to the radio on the way home. All the stations I listen to are either classic rock or a mix of classic rock and modern rock. So at one point on my way home, a song comes on, starting with an instrumental section, and it's very familiar, but I can't place it. The guitar reminded me a lot of the Allman Brothers. "Is this The Allman Brothers?" Then the singing kicked in. "What the hell? The singer sounds like the guy from The Georgia Satellites. But they only play one Georgia Satellites song on the radio, and this definitely ain't it. What the hell is this that has the guitar of The Allman Bros. and the singing of the Georgia Satellites?" I wondered. Then the chorus kicked in. "OH DUH. It's Peter Frampton. What the fuck is wrong with me???" This was the song, by the way.
