  1. Twilight Princess was the last good one. Skyward Sword was ok. BotW is a terrible Zelda game. Maybe an ok open world game. But it ticks, like, none of the boxes I'd expect for a Zelda game.
  2. Then enlighten me, because I'm really trying to find a little bit more to it beyond simply "what does it mean to live?"
  3. I finally played/finished this game (and remastered prequel), and... not sure I get the hype. Is a bit of existentialism all it takes to get kids excited these days?
  4. Does your work not have wifi?
  5. Why would I need to get on the internet if I'm not at home (or otherwise wifi accessible)? Also I pay, like, $5 a month for the handful of minutes I might actually use, almost entirely work related. I'm sure over the years this decision has saved me assloads of money with no significant downside.
  6. If it makes you feel any better, I can't even open my dishwasher all the way, no clearance past the oven door. And my complex "upgraded" their laundry facility recently, and now all the machines require an app to make payments. Fortunately for me, I don't have a mobile internet data plan, so I can no longer do laundry here and have to go down the street. =/
  7. I'm not familiar with any of the games. But, that does seem to be the memes.
  8. "Hey look, a swallow!" "So, hey, Tsukasa..." ....Where the hell is this segue going?
  9. Honestly the director choice was an entertaining twist. She's practically admitting he's better than her, or has the potential, and gives him the seat, only for him to throw it right back by putting her on top. This works pretty well for a nice denouement episode.
  10. Wonder if anybody ever questions why "the great dog demon" doesn't seem to have an actual name like everyone else.
  11. I'm digging this up because I saw on someone's desk the final volume of the manga they were reading, and I skimmed through to spoil myself on the ending (because I've never really liked this show to begin with), and, just gotta say......
  12. As dumb as the premise of this entire segment is, it somehow still manages to build proper tension. This has been a defining feature of this entire show. Despite the absurdity presented on the surface, and despite how trite it can be at times, it's still written remarkably well. Far better than a show like this probably deserves. Ironically, much like Soma's dishes, which look like basic fare at first glance, there's much more to enjoy the more you dig in.
  13. Mkay, yeah, was just a long time ago and I forgot cuz they made a point of him not having an arm for so long.
  14. I must be forgetting something or wasn't paying attention somewhere, it's been a long while... but I don't remember when/where Sesshoumaru got his arm back..
  15. So, does she just have an extra long neck, or.... cuz, pretty sure she shouldn't be able to just look back and see her entire shoulder.
  16. Holy hell. This is an income restricted apartment complex. And they just replaced all the laundry machines in their facility with ones that only take payment via smartphone app. Even if my phone could scan the codes or whatever (it might, but I've never fucked with that), I don't have a mobile internet data plan, so I have no internet in the laundry facility, and thus, cannot do laundry. How the fuck these assheads not going to give any consideration to accessibility? Shit outta luck if you don't have a device that can interact with these things.
  17. Sure hope this moves to brighter environs soon. Just love when I can barely tell what's happening on screen without getting up close.
  18. Yeah, I hold no illusions that it could, or should, be continued. That's just kinda my wild idea for what they could've done with this if/when the realized just how off the rails they were getting at the end. There really is no coming back from "you have to decide the fate of the world (and we have done absolutely nothing to foreshadow this event)."
  19. How to follow up with this: "Turns out, the navy took off with some of the most important treasures from history. Relics so powerful, they threaten the course of future events. It's our responsibility to track these items down and return them to Eden" There. I just stretched this shit out by like 200 episodes. Fighting military, royalty, rival pirates, the works. Do some pirating, do some ninja-ing, character development, world building, background, exposition. Just... gotta treat this ending like a massive fart and keep walking as if nothing happened.
  20. Additional plot hole: If the overall motivation was revenge on the family or whatever, why was her first target someone ready to snitch on the family?
  21. So... why was Joker fighting Batman in that last fight? Wasn't he in this to kill Holiday? Surely he would've been gunning for Two Face at that point...
  22. "And now for the conclusion" with nearly an hour to go...
  23. ...Have you seen my music tastes? Accordion is hardly a threat. And, y'know, since I didn't particularly care for the show... I wouldn't even recognize the theme anyway. Also probably turned off tag notifications a long time ago.
  24. One that doesn't get Netflix. Plus, like... I didn't enjoy the series. Seems pretty natural I wouldn't keep up on the news about it. I mean. The campy over-the-top isn't awful. It's just gone on a bit longer than I personally find pleasant.
