It is. But 'tiki' is easier for people to understand because it's become generic for 'weird face only carvings' and vaguely as a reference for just gaudy island mod decor. And cat food.

I'm thinking it would be cool to live on the third floor of the building across the street right now. The people on the second floor decorated their balcony big time for Halloween and every time the wind picks up all the black fabric streamers fly up and try to invade the third floor balcony. I think my cat would get a never ending kick out of watching what look like black flames dancing everywhere. I'd never get her out of the window.

Mace is in some of the older recipes for it because it would bring out a bit of slap to all the other spices but isn't necessary for all the other spices to be considered 'pumpkin spice' when blended. Also, a lot of older recipes would try to make the most of everything they had because spices were a luxury so using mace and nutmeg at the same time was like having twice as many ingredients but only really paying for one thing. I think mace tastes like ass.

I did not miss stupid football / 'sports' of any kind at all. That whole mess going into quarantine was the best things tv had going for it. Currently shitty football is on all the over-the-air channels except one which was supposed to start the world news followed by local news. Nope, that channel is running a rotorazer ad that just won't end. Your paid advertising time ended at the 30 mark, shut your ass and switch over to news so I can watch that and then go do something else. Shut up. I'm old and have my schedule and detest overpaid idiots chasing balls that interrupt actual programs.

Wondering if my stuffed up sinuses and heightened pain bs are just from flying all over the damn place and dealing with changes in temperature or if I brought something back with me that's just waiting to burst through my chest in a few days.

Yeah but CC isn't hugging the title anymore, they've been letting it out to aire on other channels in more open markets. I haven't had channels like CC, Spike, MTV, and the like in years so everything that aired on those channels was basically locked up from other channels that still had a wide distribution.

This is just going to end up costing Fox in the end. Airing the re-heats over and over [ granted it's filler at this point ] built up the fan base that got that show uncancelled. Now they are pulling as many of their shows as they can to aire exclusively on their own limited channels where the only incoming will be from commercial sponsorship which...might as well be doggie steps again because it's all re-heats. At least with selling the rights out to other channels with the limiter being they don't aire at the same time as the original parent channel that meant the series was bring money in from outside. Maybe they'll be able to get Futurama back since it's been pitched from CC and now aires on SyFyllis in sad marathons.

Not sure about the actual sign language but hand signals aren't that hard to learn. People do hand signals with their pets all the time. Repetition makes it more likely that a particular movement will be followed by a particular action. Whistles too for that matter. You don't necessarily need verbal cues to get things done. Plus, if you add in the concept that pokeballs rewire the pokemon, it's not that hard to add non-verbal cues if that's what because needed.

I saw this yesterday. By all accounts, while he loved the hell out of playing the curmudgeon, he was anything but off-set. He lived a long and full life and will be missed by many.
