I'm on a fucked up shows/movies bingewatch right now(but like no racism shit), so I'll watch the second episode tomorrow.

Birds of Prey 9/10 - It's been a long time since something in the Batman-verse has given me Batman: The Animated Series vibes. Movies like this are why I keep saying give women more projects like this because they see the real character instead of just someone fanboys want to fuck. Dunkirk 5.5/10 - I do not understand how this was so highly rated. I'm a Nolan fan, but this was one of the most mediocre war movies I have ever seen. The storytelling felt disjointed, and I'm honestly insulted that he took a unique story like this and in my opinion botched it. This should have been easy to pull off just because there are few war movies focusing more on the psychological aspect of how relentless some of those battles were, but instead this was so boring. The emotions of the characters felt off, and with the exception of the cinematography, this felt amateurish. This movie reminds me of Stargate Universe that bit off more than it could chew trying to become a more dramatic adaptation of the series and used outdated tropes, but with war tropes in Nolan's case. Dunkirk feels like a waste of money, and I'm probably more annoyed because I needed this to scratch my 'I'm depressed, so I'll watch fucked up shit' itch and it didn't take. After marathoning Euphoria, I'll go look up 1917 because it seems to be the movie people who didn't like Dunkirk gush about.

This one really hurt. Boseman was the reason why I got to have one of the best black nerd moments in my life while living in this absolutely shitty conservative area.

I guess you missed that it's practically a meme here that Scoob likes a bunch of posts. I am irked by the fact that I haven't republished my older books, so the publisher I left is the only place to find versions that the rights haven't completely reverted to me yet. So I get to see those books rack up royalties after I announce upcoming new books and be annoyed because those royalties will be paid months after they're due. I hate that my body is too weak to properly get those rights back right now and handle getting a new book ready for release. All this stupid body can do is one thing at a time. Yes, I know it would have been smarter to reissue those books first, but they stressed me out just thinking about them because I associate them with the clusterfuck that is my old publisher who fucked hundreds of authors over. I can finally look at those books again and plan out the editing changes, but again, this body can only do one fucking thing at a time. It's hard not to be upset because I have a lot of what struggling writers need like an audience and books people are asking for, but my health is shit. If I could just steadily get work done for once, I'd have a healthy stream of money and not have to worry about bills all the time. I get one nice thing like lower temps, and then my period hits which means my iron goes right back down after getting it up a little bit. Just grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Why is my hungry and broke ass watching this? And God knows I ain't got any energy to make this either.

Are you being forced to watch it or something? Sometimes they'll have a good movie every now and then. They had a nice set of mystery movies about a bookshop owner solving murders called Mystery Woman starring Kellie Martin and Clarence Williams III, but they discontinued them years ago.

I saw a preview for it but didn't realize that was the cult the chick from Smallville was in until later. That trailer was intense too.

We got a second one because our crockpot from the 80's(still works perfectly) is heavy as hell and hard to maneuver. The newer crockpot didn't cook as well, so it went back into the box and the older crockpot just lives on the counter forever.

Unless I haven't been paying attention, this is the first time I've seen HBO do this.

What the fuck is wrong with people?

This just premiered, and boy did I have fun watching it last night. The writing is solid and unlike most horror stuff out lately, there was real tension. I will be so happy if they can keep this up. It was a really smart decision of HBO to air this right after the second night of playing Birds of Prey because the double dose of Jurnee Smollet showing off her skills was sweet. P.S. Everyone is aware her brother did an asshole thing, just let the woman shine on her own.

Fuck potatoes for being so delicious when cooked properly. No other veggie makes me spend this much effort on them. The only other food I can think of that gets this much effort out of me at all is steak. And everyone always wants some. Mashed, baked, fried, no one turns me down when I grudgingly offer to make some. Also, I kinda have to offer because I always get a craving for potatoes on weekends and this time of the year is when my parents are out in the yard tackling the forest out in front while I scoop up the mess into bags once there's less of my deadly allergy flying about. Like I could cook while my parents are outside and I'm inside during most of that time, but even I know that's a dick move. So I offer, and they won't turn me down 😥.

I wish cancel culture worked as well as those bitching about it thinks it does. One sexual harasser gets bumped from one community, and then moves on to the next one with similar widespread harassment issues a few months later so we gotta warn folks about him over there. Can't these assholes just die in obscurity?

This is a great opportunity for Vivziepop. All she has to do is not hang out with sexual predators or defend them if any more pop up in her social circle. This isn't even a dig at her, but that'll probably happen again because the animation world can be fucking trash.
